Guest Dam(o)nYankees Report post Posted March 24, 2006 I think thats going a bit far. The NWA Title is nowhere near what it was back in the day in terms of prestige, but come on, its at least on the level of the WWE US Title or something. Which is below the women's title. I had to look the champion up and its BENOIT. Thats how little I care about the US Title.

RedJed 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2006 I will say this much, Edge is right fucking on with his sentiments if you ask me. I just got back from a house show in Rochester, MN and Cena and Edge were respectively both the biggest face and heels on the show. They tore the house down in a street fight that was extremely effective in so many ways I dont know where to start. I dont know how to explain it other than saying a match like this should have been on TV or built towards to Mania in some degree. Way better match than I've seen them have before. It may have needed a few more significant spots to deem it Mania worthy, but overall, this was just a great match that blew me away as both Cena and Edge were just ON. If Edge would have been keeping the title until current time and they would have had the match they had at this house show tonight at Mania, the Cena experiment would have been still very much strong. And Edge as well would have benefitted from it as he came off as a real big time player tonight as well. Why this program got cut off at its legs on TV just flat out pisses me off when I saw the potential it had tonight live.
Guest Montresor Report post Posted March 25, 2006 Which is below the women's title. I had to look the champion up and its BENOIT. Thats how little I care about the US Title. Have you not seen a single segment involving Benoit and/or Booker since November? Really, you had to have been aware of the title situation whether you care about the belt or not. As for the three-wrestler women's division, they all move in slow motion to dead silence unless clothing is coming off or someone has a nosebleed.
Wrestlefreak 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2006 I think he meant to add "in the wild, wacky world of professional wrestling" to the end of his question. Expecting professionalism out of WWE and most other promotions is a quick way to wait for nothing. Exactly!
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 What was the reason for fans turning on Edge in mid-2004?
Silence 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 What was the reason for fans turning on Edge in mid-2004? WWE booked him as a HHH 2002 clone by acting like a pissed-off face instead of letting Edge use his Smackdown 2002 goofy face character.

Perfxion 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 Yet the Trish/Micky storyline is the only one that has any real build to it and doesn't insult the memory of a dead wrestler that the WWE has done in years. The Women's title is sadly the best booked title on both rosters.

The Women's title is sadly the best booked title on both rosters. The US title, is probably second. Despite the fact Benoit was a afterthought at SNME when they made it seem like JBL/Austin was for Mania.
