Guest InuYasha Report post Posted April 4, 2006 Good news: One crooked politician run out of Congress. Bad news: All the rest are still there. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,...1179853,00.html One less piece of garbage representing us in Congress. Now if we could only find Kay Bailey Hutchinson in a compromising position.

jesse_ewiak 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2006 I think Hugh Hewitt was wrong on this one... http://hughhewitt.com/archives/2005/09/25-...dex.php#a000292 A Texas prosecutor with a history of abuse of his office, Ronnie Earle, has indicted Tom DeLay. Earle is a sort of Jim Garrison without the integrity. Soon to follow: Giant MSM coverage, show trial, acquittal and exoneration, DeLay's return to Majority Leader for another 20 years. Oops. But yeah, DeLay was just the head cockroach of those feasting off the American people.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2006 About time. So, do we start speculating who will replace him now?

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 About time. So, do we start speculating who will replace him now? A new Majority Leader was already been elected. I love the way he says he's only resigning to keep a "liberal Democrat" (as if such a thing even exists in Texas) from winning his seat.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Smart move by Delay to get out before the election. By the time the elections roll around the thought of Delay will have disappeared from the minds of most of the voters. It also lessens the damage to the Republican Party by resigning right now. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 I gotta hand it to the Republicans for distancing themselves from this guy. With him out of the way, the Democrats can focus on a much-better strategy than running against Delay: Running against Bush.
