I voted for Axis - having an overly gimmick PBP man just seems like it'd create more problems than it solves. After two or three months, the jokes of a guy like Comet would be worn out (as someone who wrote quite poorly for him). Mak would be the other choice - I think he'd make for a very interesting PBP guy.

No, I was told by Chirs3 to read what I could so I just went back and read all of these 'new announcer every show' shows, to try and get the hang of the different characters. It just seems that, from what I've observed, people write Edwin and Cyclone Comet with personalities that stand out better than the other announcers. So i thought that maybe they're easier to write.

Edwin MacPhisto and Cyclone Comet are the only ones that stand out to me. The others can all be lumped together in one generic pile, from what I've seen that is.

 

I'm sure you're qualified to make that call too.

They're easier to write because no one bothers to go back and read up on characters, they just write whatever crazy stuff comes to mind and somehow that becomes Edwin and Comet's personalities.

That's OK Dub-Cee - I can understand how it'd be difficult to see someone as gifted as me arrive and not come to the conclusion that I'd done it all before...
