Special K 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 He's just the craziest, most kamikaze MMA fighter I've ever seen. I saw Silva destroy him (Guy's a fucking monster) are there any particular matches I should see to see Sakuraba's craziness in action?
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 17, 2006 PRIDE 10 (marketed as Return of the Warriors) has been re-realeased a double-disk and is worth watching. Renzo's good bu a bit outsized, but you get a lot of wacky Sakuraba stuff out of the fight.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Sakuraba's awesome. He's my favourite MMA fighter. It was so awesome to see someone I watched from the UWFI come into the MMA world and defeat the "undefeatables".

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Are we talking about the pro-wrestler Sakuraba or is this someone different? Or is there even a pro wrestler named Sakuraba?
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Sakuraba vs Quinton Jackson is a really fun fight.
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Sakuraba vs Anthony Macias from Pride 7 is probably one of the most fun fights you'll ever watch.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Are we talking about the pro-wrestler Sakuraba or is this someone different? Or is there even a pro wrestler named Sakuraba? Kazushi Sakuraba was a pro wrestler (UWF-i) before he was a fighter.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 So was he even a trained fighter when this started or was he part of Inoki's crazy "a pro wrestler can beat an MMA guy!" thing?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2006 It wasn't Inoki, though Inoki pushed that concept for decades. I guess Sakuraba was a pretty good amateur wrestler, trained in the Takada Dojo and learned catch style wrestling with Billy Robinson and had the perfect style to defeat traditional BJJ fighters.
