Things may be looking up in the city of Champions. But, as far as I'm concerned, the wrong Ward is not playing. Edmonton's still trying to stay above water otherwise. So, who gets the Smythe? Interesting question...if Edmonton wins, and remembering that it's the award for playoff MVP and not finals MVP, would you still give the Conn Smythe to Roloson? I'd still give it to Brind'Amour, but if a gun was held to my head and I had to pick an Edmonton guy, I'd give it to Pronger. I think Carolina needed Game 5 more than Edmonton (Yes I know it was an elimination game). Jussi Markannen is doing fine in net and Edmonton's PP is clicking. Markannen is playing well, Edmonton got a definite boost from a shorthanded goal to win, PP is clicking as mentioned, Weight and Ward hurt, andthe last hockey Edmontonians will see live for four months?
