chirs3 Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 w00t x 100000. Also, . Working the kinks out of the BG card - should be up relatively soon.
muzz Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I'm happy no one completely butchered my character. And I'm looking forward to Jimmy vs. 'Child.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 - Bloodshed indeed; I'd rather see Clark come back than Bloodshed, if he'd consider it, but that's mostly because I didn't "get" Bloodshed. - Two guys writing as two broads and, call me nutsy, but I find the prospect of this match to be more interesting than the prospect of the apparently impending Landon/Toxxic, part whatever. - Another solid match by Zyon; I'm not sure that five thousand words is enough to properly put over a "forty-five minute" match, but it was a good, fun read... - I have a mixed reaction about the Main Event, though: I thought that the action portions of the match were very well done, and it had a good mix of comedy bits that didn't make me roll my eyes (I have to admit, I marked for the homage to Hedberg), but the commentary killed the flow of the match for me. As apparently the only guy in the fed that doesn't hate Johnny, Drea's utter contempt for Dangerous was so overbearing that, at times, it made it hard for me to read past it and get into what was actually going on in the match. It's like, we get it, you think Dangerous is a tool; can we move on, please? I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of the show looks like, whenever it shows up.
chirs3 Posted April 18, 2006 Author Report Posted April 18, 2006 Spike's promos have been edited in. Joy!
Bruce Blank Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Marking out for Bloodshed and the build to Spike/Zyon has been totally superb *thumbs up* I am there front and center for that one, it should totally rock the socks of the entire federation Shame about all the gaps so far. There will be build. Trust me.That's what I get for trusting a Canadian! *shakes fist* And we finally get to the home stretch for Bruce / IL with a SICK stipulation (that only IL could come up with) and an explanation of why Bruce fled the matches with IL. It'll be awesome to finally face off BOOOOO to the death of the Ultraviolent title, HISSSSSSSSSSSS to the ressurection of the bottom rung "Hardcore Gamer's title" Ultraviolent title = Holds clear wins over both "#1 Contenders" and thus is actually elevated ABOVE world title status right now But like a girl she threw away a million dollar car for a 20 buck rusty beat up piece of shit because it suited her more - *tisk*tisk*
Toxxic Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Bruce, I stand for tradition. You are the despicable new wave... no, in fact you're nu-wave, and therefore must be shunned. Fie on you for renaming one of our titles, heathen!
Bruce Blank Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Like I said "Better to drive a rusty old bucket just because you're familiar with it" You're doing a bang up job of channeling the chick side
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Hmm. Dub, I really didn't intend for my semi-jocular dislike of Johnny to be the main focus of the commentary. I was trying to go with a "Look at how big a prick King can be, and Sacred joins in, too" vibe. And, if Kevs had a moveset I liked better (Though, this might be my flaw as a writer, not his), I wouldn't have had Johnny be all goofy and interfere, as it was only a device to allow Coyote to cheat. I suppose I could have had Avery distract the Double-Sea, but, once again, my flaw as a writer. I have not read the recently added matches, but the rest of the show is very good. Isn't it? Am I right, am I right? Oh, that Chris Storm....
Toxxic Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I'm disappointed no-one has mentioned that I had Joe Peters come out to MVS's own rapping.
