teke184 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 NE traded Green Bay for their pick and Florida WR Chad Jackson is on his cell.
Guest Smues Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Hi, we're ESPN. We don't give a shit about these other teams making 2nd round picks, but when New England does something we'll be sure you get all the details.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 With his freefall Winston Justice had to be one of the guys that failed the drug test, right? I guess so. And the Patriots just selected Chad Jackson. I really like that pick but they better be aiming linebacker the rest of the draft.
teke184 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 I know Faine isn't a LeCharles Bentley, but they only had one center on the roster after Bentley left... Filling that hole with ANYONE wsa a step in the right direction.
4hartthreat 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 I know he's not as good as Bentley, but he is much better than what they have on the roster right now.
teke184 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Pats traded their 2nd and one of their 3rd round picks to Green Bay in order to move up. Green Bay appears to have traded and gotten back on the board.
devo 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 And now the Packers trade for #37. Huh. I'm really pleased with the way the Jets have handled this draft so far.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Packers trade with the Broncos for a 2nd round pick? Walker?
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Javon Walker traded for the 37th pick, per NFL Network.
BX 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 I think Javon Walker just got traded.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 37th now traded to Atlanta.
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 This is by far the most fucked up draft... Dennis Green and Drew Brees are problay the happiest motherfuckers alive right now.
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Even though their coverage is better it does appear NFL Network will be no better than ESPN in terms of keeping up with the picks after the first round.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Jimmy Williams finally goes. I don't want to see ESPN's talking heads dammit! Show me the draft!
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted April 29, 2006 The Bills have done THE worst 1st round drafting in history. Not because they didn't need Whitner and McCargo at those positions.. But, I'm sure they had many trade scenarios for the 8th pick, including Denver... and they took safety, which probably would have been there at 15. Then, why the hell they traded up for McCargo, I'll never know. Nobody left in the 1st round was gonna take him. He could have even been there at 42. Blah, whatever. I'll trust Marv, though. And I'm not happy with the Cards taking Leinart. He will certainly suck in the NFL, now.
BX 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 And they immediately give it to the Falcons?
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Even though their coverage is better it does appear NFL Network will be no better than ESPN in terms of keeping up with the picks after the first round. Yeah, I'm a little disappointed in that... But, Corey Chavous >>>>>> Irvin, Jackson, Berman and whatever other idiots.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Even though their coverage is better it does appear NFL Network will be no better than ESPN in terms of keeping up with the picks after the first round. They really need to dump the Dan Reeves segments, they add nothing to the table and just get them behind. I'll give both some leeway for the requisite Tagliabue farewells but time to get back to business.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Even though their coverage is better it does appear NFL Network will be no better than ESPN in terms of keeping up with the picks after the first round. Yeah, I'm a little disappointed in that... But, Corey Chavous >>>>>> Irvin, Jackson, Berman and whatever other idiots. Corey is actually trying to give the picks, he stops in the middle of what he says so we can hear a pick. I like him, if it was Michael Irvin he'd still be bitching about the greatness of Reggie Bush being reduced to a second pick and not giving a damn who just got drafted. Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 And I'm not happy with the Cards taking Leinart. He will certainly suck in the NFL, now. Your an idiot. If anything, Leinart will be a pro bowl QB because of getting drafted to the Cardinals. He has a hell of an offense to work with.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Raiders just took Thomas Howard, out of UTEP. This guy ran something like a 4.4 forty time at one point in the season.
teke184 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Oaktown has picked Thomas Howard, OLB, UTEP. Titans are up.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Yeah, Corey does talk a little much... but, there's no doubt he does tons of studying on the draft. He's awesome. Thank you ESPN for letting him go.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 Ignoring the 38th god damn pick of the draft?!? There is no excuse for this shit. Fuck ESPN, fuck NFL network, christ can someone please provide coverage that shows each pick being announced? Already reiterating first round shit? Fuck. Well I feel better now.....for 5 minutes
