daileyxplanet 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 So how many wrestlers are considered Grand Slam Champions? I know Shawn Michaels is billed as the first ever (WWE), WWE, IC, Tag Team, Euro. And although I've never heard it mentioned, Triple H is the same. American Triple Crown Champions include AJ Styles, are there any others?
eiker_ir 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 Jericho (world, tag, IC, european, cruiser in wcw) Eddie (same)
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 Chris Benoit (World, US, IC, Tag) also in WCW (World, US, TV, Tag) Kurt Angle (WWF, Euro, IC, Tag)
BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 If by the strict definition of the original Grand Slam concept (WWE, IC, Euro, World Tag) its just three: HHH, HBK, and Jericho. If we're including the idea of having four championships at different levels (World/WWE, US/IC, Euro/TV, and Raw Tag/Smackdown Tag) then Eddie Guerrero, JBL and Kurt Angle qualify. Some would argue the Hardcore Title could be regarded as a [TV/Euro] equivalent so in that case Kane and Big Show could be argued as well. Benoit, Luger, Scott Steiner, DDP, and Booker T are all WCW Grand Slam champs.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 I had always considered it as world, tag and any two secondary titles.
BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 I had always considered it as world, tag and any two secondary titles. I haven't really seen a consisent answer yet. If that's the case then place Benoit, Show, and Kane and possibly Edge in the same category with all the others.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 Angle also won the hardcore title at one point didn't he? Just for like 30 seconds? Edit: Rajah.com confirms Angle d. RVD for the Hardcore belt for about two minutes on 9/10/01 in San Antonia, TX. RVD promptly won it back.

daileyxplanet 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2006 And? The point is having different titles in the same promotion. Also, is AJ Styles the only North American Triple Crown Champion?
Darth Vader 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2006 I'd rather go by the triple crown since the euro title was never meant to last anyway. Pedro Morales Ric Flair Bret Hart Kevin Nash Shawn Michaels Kane Steve Austin The Rock Big Show* Triple H Kurt Angle Chris Jericho Chris Benoit* Edge Eddie Guerrero JBL Booker T* *Won titles created after the roster spilt or in Booker T's case after the purchase of WCW. JST 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2006 Angle became champion when he beat RVD during a Raw, only to be attacked and thrown off the stage by Austin. RVD pinned him moments later to win the title back.
