I'll root for Italy today after my favorite (Brazil) played so terrible and got eliminated. I guess my Italian heritage has to come through this time. But like Eskimo said, I want them to win like they did agains Germany: Playing offensive football and going all out, not like they tipically do, playing extremely defensive, waiting for the other team to attack in order to counter attack (I'm sure there's an italian word to describe this tactic, if anyone knows it they could please mention it?) That is like overtime in the superbowl being decided by field goals, or game 7 of the NBA Finals going to overtime and the winner of the slam dunk contest wins the Championship. It's not like a field goal hasn't won a Super Bowl before, just never in over-time. Sorry I mean that them going to a contest after overtime in any of the sports to decide a championship game. It shouldn't happen at all. Like the NFL would play a 15 minute ot and if nobody scores they go to a field goal kicking contest or a homerun derby in game 7 of the World Series after 1 inning of extra play. The championship game of the world cup should be sudden death and it shouldn't go to a penalty kicking contest to decide who wins the championship.
