Guest InuYasha Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Rock seems more a Hasbro kinda guy. But, IIRC, Mattel bought Hasbro; so you just end up in the same spot you were before.
JustJoe2k5 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 These two guys could put on matches that rival the Jerry Lynn / Rob Van Dam matches from ECW, yet this is what we get.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I bet RVD gets hurt before ONS and never gets to cash in his briefcase. That'd be his luck.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Rock seems more a Hasbro kinda guy. But, IIRC, Mattel bought Hasbro; so you just end up in the same spot you were before. How about Playskool?
skullman80 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 This match is just a hodge podge of miscues....
Gary Floyd Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 It's been a while since i mentioned it, but since I just saw a comercial for the DVD, I'll ask again: Why on Earth did somebody actually think that "Date Movie" was a good idea? Why did someone think it was a good idea for Uwe Boll to make another shitty movie out of a video game? Some things are just unexplainable mysteries of the universe. I await "Animal Crossing: The Movie: The Game" Actually, his next directorial effort is a movie version of "Dungeon Siege".
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I REALLY want to like watching these two wrestle each other, but I just can't get into it.
Slickster Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I bet RVD gets hurt before ONS and never gets to cash in his briefcase. That'd be his luck. He'll cash it in anyway and get a Shane Douglas reign with the ECW title.
JustJoe2k5 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Has WWE signed some of the NWA camera crew, completely random shots of the crowd have me flashing back to War Games matches.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 23, 2006 Author Report Posted May 23, 2006 Ross mentioned that the Money in the Bank is for either WWE or World title. Would have meant more if JBL won last night, but just wanted to mention that. ...and this mentioning of Shelton dressing as The Rock makes me picture The Rock running down on Shelton.
Downhome Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Ha, that looked like a legit ref bump almost.
Slickster Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Awesome, so RVD gets "screwed" out of the title so his hatred for WWE grows.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I REALLY want to like watching these two wrestle each other, but I just can't get into it. I think the secret to enjoying the match lies in experiencing the qualities of both wrestlers... so you have to have no personality and be incredibly high.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 ANGRY STONER...oh wait...he's already back to normal.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 RVD gets pissed for the ruling and blasts WWE. Rob gets disciplined. Rob jumps to ECW. Jump Rob jump.
BorneAgain Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I bet RVD gets hurt before ONS and never gets to cash in his briefcase. That'd be his luck. It would fit considering how he got injured in ECW a month shy of holding the title two years. Of course the reason he was hurt last time was because he teamed with Rey Mysterio. I have a running theory that whoever teams with Rey, they'll be out of a while. See Edge, Van Dam, Batista.
Hawk 34 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 These two guys could put on matches that rival the Jerry Lynn / Rob Van Dam matches from ECW, yet this is what we get. No, they couldn't. RVD doesn't have the liberty to stall constantly to work the crowd, Benjamin doesn't have Lynn's poise and awareness. It's not like Lynn/RVD was ever was great as the mutants desperately wanted to believe it was.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Dr. Death and Billy Gibbons!? Holy random cameos Batman? Edit: If that wasn't Steve on the left, my apologies. I didn't hear Vince's introduction and that's who I thought it looked like.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 This segment needs more NASCAR drivers.
Slickster Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Vince is recruiting ZZ Top to record "Stand Back 2006."
Guest InuYasha Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 These two guys could put on matches that rival the Jerry Lynn / Rob Van Dam matches from ECW, yet this is what we get. That's because RVD just isn't as excited anymore. He's been brought down from where he was to wrestle WWE Style. And the end of this match just cinches that: Giving RVD the DQ for Shelton being stupid enough to bring the belt in and then getting smacked with it is just insulting.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 har har..a homemade pearl necklace..har har
billdynamite Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 it's segments like those when i think "isnt anybody gonna say cut?" they just have such an awkward feel to them and i wish they ended a lot quicker.
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Did Maria say... "I see his BUTT, I'd rather see hers." ?????????????? if so... YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Guest InuYasha Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Does anyone else think premiering that Omen movie on 6/6/06 is just about as insulting as it can get? Julia Stiles is one of my favorite actresses; but I may need to re-evaluate that opinion now.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Vince McMahon lost overness from that segment
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 We now bring you the weekly 20 minute HHH promo.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Vince should publicly apologize for firing all of us.
