Interesting story related to that.

 

There was this kid in my school right, I go to a pretty small private arts school, and the dorms are situated in downtown. On one side of Biscayne Boulevard, where the school/art & design district is, it's not too bad. Across the street is Overtown, one of the worst areas in Miami, although on the fringes it's not too bad. Anyways, lots of homeless people.

 

So, this guy had some kind of myspace where he took pictures and professed his hatred of homeless people. Had no idea why he had it out so much for them, but apparently one night he went out and started taunting some bum. They got in a fight, and this kid, well, shanked the homeless guy, and walked away with the bum yelling he was going to get him later.

 

He did, too. The kid had seperated from his friends, and the bum appeared later, clutching his side drenched in blood, and stabbed the kid in the back of the head with a box cutter, and beat him bloody. The kid was in ICU for a couple weeks before he died, they had grief counseling and whatnot for the film students at our school if we knew him. He never showed up to class, so I didn't really care, and I don't live in the dorms, but apparently some people there were shaken, and scared of bums.

 

I bought one a chili dog the other day, though. I could care less.
