NoCalMike Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I also am sick and tired of conservative media always pushing the idea that if a former serviceman happens to be a liberal or against current foreign policy, then they aren't "real soliders" Kerry, Murtha, Max Cleeland(sp?) All of their names have been dragged through the mud by these fucking assholes who are just so in lock step with the administration that an opposing voice, even it comes from soldiers who know a thing or two about war and combat strategy, is just evil and unamerican. I am so fucking tired of "your policy is cut and run" when all people want is a goddamn answer about our progress in Iraq. How many times has the objective in Iraq changed? You have a fucking windbag douche like Karl Rove screaming "nah nah nah cut and run nah nah nah" They just played a speech of his from a few days ago, "when the times get tough and bullets start flying, the democrats want to cut and run" horseshit. Nobodies policy that is running for office is to cut and run. What upsets me the most is that this strategy will work, even though it is once again a blatant lie. If a liberal's policy is cut and run, then George Bush's policy was "Cut and Paste" when he cherry picked the intelligence to make a case for war.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 We already have an evolution thread for this discussion. I suggest we revisit it if more needs to be said. OCD a little?

WHOA SEND THAT TO AL FRANKEN Al Franken doesn't really do comedy anymore, send it to Stephanie Miller, she'll do a skit about it Website Wiki of the show she's the daughter of Barry Goldwater's running mate, by the way
Special K Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I don't think Al Franken ever did comedy. *rimshot*

She had a late night talk show around the time Johnny Carson retired thast lasted about 5 episodes. I remember she had Michael "Worf" Dorn on the show (who I'll admit is a pretty good looking guy without the make-up) and she just about knocked the set over with her tongue hanging out of her mouth. This, folks, is the stuff I remember. Not my mom's birthday. Not my wife's favorite flower. Stuff like this. Its like my brain is specially wired for stupid trivia.

I know the feeling about remembering weird stuff, and yes, she does occasionally bring up her old show, but her radio show is lots of fun for a liberal. And you haven't lived until you've heard Jim Ward do Kim Jong Il saying "K to the J to IL in the hizz-ouse!"
SuperJerk Posted June 16, 2006 Author Report Posted June 16, 2006 PIMP. Those are two of the hottest bitches in the history of Star Trek. And Jeri Ryan ain't bad, either.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 There go my heroes Watch them as they go
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 There go my heroes Watch them as they go Smitty, with my dick as collateral, I swear this time last year, I referred to SOAD's fanfare as "Hating Bush Being A Fad"..Good for you for being ahead of the game.
NoCalMike Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 I was watching O'Reily the other night and he was blathering about how much liberals hate bush blah blah, yet he doesn't mention that it could be his policies people hate, and then that brought to mind how Dennis Miller said he turned republican because he heard some guy on the street of NY say Bush was a Nazi and it got him thinking how out of line liberals are, and all I could think of was the "Clinton" shirts I remember people wearing in the 90's but instead of a "C" it was a hammer and cicle(sp?) I just think people don't remember quite how much Clinton was HATED by Conservatives and I don't think a lot of it had to do with policy, seeing how Clinton's policies were hardly hard-line left, the way Bush brings a harder right(well besides Immigration). I am not saying that conservatives didn't have ANY ISSUES with his policies, but I can remember listening to talk radio and it was barely 10% of the time they were every even talking about Clinton's policies. I dunno my memory is hazy, I really shouldn't be posting in Current Events on a Saturday night, Drunk, after watching a good boxing match.

Guest Felonies! Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Crono steals comedy from Jay Leno, it seems. Only the best!
Special K Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Quit derailing the thread. The last time I watched anything Star Trek, I think it was the first episode of the next Generation. Q, this omnipotent guy, shows up on-screen. Worf immediately points his gun at him, and Patrick Stewart is aghast, like 'NO DON'T shoot the shit out of our starship." Nerdily hilarious. I almost pissed my pants. It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. It's like if in the Hunt for Re October they looked at the sonar and shot the fucking screen Oh, sorry. Ann Coulter's a cunt EDIT: this is now the Dorn appreciation thread. Golly he's tall and handsome. And her sure does get the bitches. He was also featured in the first Gabriel Knight game, as a voodoo Doctor. Boyh I'd like him to give ME a pap smear. ON MY BALLS. I'm clever.
SuperJerk Posted June 18, 2006 Author Report Posted June 18, 2006 I was going to post some comment about how all Ann Coulter really needed was a night with Michael Dorn, but decided it was going to far.
Guest InuYasha Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 I was going to post some comment about how all Ann Coulter really needed was a night with Michael Dorn, but decided it was going to far. After all, why should Michael Dorn have to suffer endlessly just to keep Ann Coulter sane?
Art Sandusky Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Crono does it again! He must be on the honor roll, because he's on a roll!
Gary Floyd Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 To Crono: Honestly dude, Inuyasha? I know anime geeks/otaku types who are embarressed by that show. Honestly, choose a better anime, like FLCL or something.
Special K Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 No, when he was Chrono it almost ruined the game for me. And I got the secret ending, the super-secret ending and the frog ending.
