Aero 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 Taken from 411... Pre-Show: *A good portion of the upper deck is tarped off. Dark Match: *Matt Hardy pinned Sylvester Turkay. Smackdown: *WWE Tag Team champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated The Mexicools. Crazy had the match won and Psicosis tagged himself in and went for a somersault legdrop that missed and Kendrick scored the pin. The Mexicools got into a fistfight with each other after the match. Batista promo for his return in "14 days." *Later tonight will be Booker T vs. Bobby Lashley and WWE World champion Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry. *Simon Dean vs. Tatanka was stopped when The Great Khali attacked both competitors. Khali mimiced the Undertaker's pinfall of opponents, crossing Dean's arm and sticking out his tongue like Undertaker does. *Finlay defeated Gunnar Scott after hitting him with the shillelagh. The Little B****ard tried to interfere but was tossed back under the ring by Finlay. *Sylvan, Ambassor of Quebec promo. *Chavo Guerrero did an pre-interview with Michael Cole "at home" talking about being attacked last week by Mark Henry and that the odds are against Rey Mysterio tonight. *Kristal Marshall interviewed Mark Henry. *King Booker defeated Lashley in a long match via DQ. Booker brought a chair into the ring but Lashley got it and the referee saw Lashley with it. Finlay and William Regal interfered during the match. Regal, who came out to new music, did his "All Hail King Booker" bit seemingly forever before the match began. *Ken Kennedy pinned Funaki with a senton off the top. *Backstage, Teddy Long informed Booker T he would face Lashley "next week" in a Steel Cage Match. *Another Batista returns promo. *WWE World champ Rey Mysterio defeated Mark Henry via DQ. Chavo Guerrero came out and used a chair to "cheat" by tricking the referee into thinking Henry had used it on Mysterio.
BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 Smackdown increasingly feels like a drama that's part of popular franchise, but has completely different continuity then all the other series and is set in some alternate universe.

reign 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 I can't at all hate on Lashley versus Booker if that's what your getting at...I think it's a good story and feud with the bigger Lashley always having to fight off King Booker and his court of good wrestlers...I really don't want it to end and I hope that it lasts through Booker winning the title although Batista coming back will fuck that up

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 Taker really shouldn't win the title at this point with his errant schedule, though it's not like the belt means anything anymore anyways.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 Good thing they have such a cluttered tag division that they can afford to break up another tag team.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 Taker really shouldn't win the title at this point with his errant schedule, though it's not like the belt means anything anymore anyways. Especially not at Mania. Taker needs to work Angle or Benoit at ManiaXXIII and call it a career.
ryankeast 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2006 Not minding the Booker/Lashley feud at the moment as it is really helping establish Lashley as an upper mid card talent. I'm also enjoying the use of Regal and Finaly in this angle - they are finally giving Regal at least something to do that doesn't fall in the category of "bad comedy". Another tag team is broken up in The Mexicools - at least the matches it produces should be entertaining. Super Crazy though should get the title off of Helms though - who is doing NOTHING for that particular championship. Please WWE give up on Sylvan. Looks like Chavo should be on his way back to the ring soon, I take it that he hit Rey with the chair then?? (HEEL turn soon looks like it is fast approaching). Chavo/Rey over the World title just doesn't cut it for me though? The return of Batista should help things. The Batista/Henry feud though is going to be ugly. Still looks like a flat show though to me. I take it Velocity is no more??? Still no Pitbulls on Smackdown. Grrrrrr!!!!!!
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2006 Well I think Booker is problay going to go over. Either way he's problay facing Rey at GAB, and Batista is facing Mark Henry. Which is the smart thing to do.

Chavo Guerrero came out and used a chair to "cheat" by tricking the referee into thinking Henry had used it on Mysterio. Sounds like he just did the thing that Eddie used to do.
