Guest DaGoodz Report post Posted July 7, 2006 This was posted on another site, I don't get the Observer so I don't know if it was true or not, but I know a few people here do so hopefully they can clear this up.. Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter Sources within WWE are confirming that Randy Orton did not meet the requirements to pass the WWE wellness program drug test. Although many details have not been released, apparently WWE Officials found over eight bottles of non-prescription painkillers in Orton's dressing bag. After the incident with RVD this past week, Vince McMahon had a talk with all talent from all three brands warning them about the use of Painkillers. It should also be noted that Randy Orton tested positive for Steriod use within the last two months. At this point, many aren't sure if WWE will make the story public, with Orton being a centerpiece of this year's Summerslam battling Hulk Hogan. However, if action isn't taken, it would be not only unfair to RVD, it would also look very bad in the eyes of the public. We will have more on this story as it develops. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 I dislike Orton as much as the next guy but I'm going to wait for confirmation before calling for his head.
Mole 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 I think this would have been reported at wresltingobserver.com. And I always thought WON goes out on Thursdays, so how could they have gotten this so quickly?

I doubt a legit report would misspell steroid, or use capital letters when they're not needed.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 Well, I have little doubt that Orton is on the juice regardless of whether this is true or not. Remember when he was on Raw last year discussing the draft lottery while injured? He had shrunk considerably, Vince even noted it on the air.
jester 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 If they seriously enforced the Wellness Program, who would be left on the roster? Ed Peterson in accounting, maybe? I hope when Hogan makes his inevitable return, they ask him to piss in a cup.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 This is total bullshit. No one knew about RVD & Sabu until Monday morning and WON's don't show up in people's mailboxes until Thursday at the earliest. Total BS. Close the thread.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 The only time Orton was mentioned in semi-major news in this weeks WON, it was that there is the potential of a Harry Smith vs. Randy Orton feud once Harry debuts, possibly stemming from the Brooke Hogan angle. Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 It's a rumor, don't call for his head yet... I hope it's not true as I'm looking forward towards a Hogan/Orton program.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 The only time Orton was mentioned in semi-major news in this weeks WON, it was that there is the potential of a Harry Smith vs. Randy Orton feud once Harry debuts, possibly stemming from the Brooke Hogan angle. Harry Smith comes in as Brooke's guy, and Randy wants her. In a climactic Wrestlemania battle, Orton throws the ashes of Davey Boy Smith salt in Harry's eyes, blinding him and subjecting him to a crappy looking RKO for the victory. As Harry lays dejected, Hulk appears from the back, and after checking on Harry, proceeds to dodge a blast of ashes salt and defeat Randy Orton in 23 seconds flat. slimm44 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 It could be a setup. Orton allegedly being on roids and pain killers could be included to Hogan/Orton's feud
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 I think that if it's true they will continue if the Hogan program having Orton job to Hogan and then suspend him. That sounds like a good punishment to me...

Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2006 --There has been some sort of an item regarding Randy Orton posted on some web sites attributes to the Observer. The item is made up and has never appeared in the Observer Newsletter. Orton can get into enough trouble on his own without people having to make up stuff on him. Any sites who posted anything owe Orton a major and immediate apology and should pray WWE legal doesn't come after you, because it's going to be pretty hard to defend yourself when you credit something to a newsletter you don't even read.
