Guest netslob Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 From PWInsider: Mike Johnson is live at tonight's Raw/Smackdown Supershow and will be sending in reports throughout the evening. In a dark match prior to the Smackdown taping, Hardcore Holly made his return to the ring and pinned Simon Dean with the Alabama Slam. Like the guy, or hate him, that's great news if you ask me, considering he almost died in the past year. Mike Johnson almost died?

JustJoe2k5 Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 You think Hardcore Holly will get his obligatory return-from-injury push?
Downhome Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 As long as Holly is kept in the mid-card, I don't mind him at all. In fact, I demand a Finlay-Holly feud to determine who the toughest guy in the SD locker room is. I'd love to see that also. I don't really have anything against Holly at all for the most part.

Maybe not as a main eventer but as a midcarder or even upper midcarder he's fine. Plus, Smackdown! definitely needs talent right now so bring it on.
EdwardKnoxII Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Benjamin and Carlito both pin Nitro leading to a wacky Co-IC Champions storyline. Great. Now I have thoughts of Jericho and Chyna running in my head.

Downhome Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I still want to see Edge drop the title to a former WCW guy so we can get a parade of WCW champs.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I still want to see Edge drop the title to a former WCW guy so we can get a parade of WCW champs. Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan for WWE Champion!
Danville_Wrestling Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I REALLY hope a baby explanation promo doesn't start RAW.

Yup he'll be back on our TVs stiffing and no-selling new guys before we know it. To be fair, it is good to see him come back healthy.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I REALLY hope a baby explanation promo doesn't start RAW. Well, the song and pyro start Raw! And after that... ...Shane. That could be trouble.
The Amazing Rando Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Orton Knows Best should have him giving advice to the kids... hopefully the advice is sensible.
Exslade ZX Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 His hair looks mighty fluffy.../not connected lol.
Danville_Wrestling Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 On a side note they need to get a better color of ring ropes than black. It sucks hard. SHIT! Mention of the baby three minutes into RAW.
razazteca Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I REALLY hope a baby explanation promo doesn't start RAW. too late
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Foreshadowing by the truck! Someone's gettin' fired.
Anakin Flair Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 No ramp tonight.... wonder who's gonna drive what into the arena.
The Amazing Rando Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Shawn Michaels, in his old age, seems to suffer from Premature Entrance Music
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I can't tell if that was legit screwing up or not.
Danville_Wrestling Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 What really sucks about this tag match @ SummerSlam is that Vince/Shane are going to look stronger than all 5 guys of the Spirit Squad who couldn't take on HBK/HHH worth a damn which makes no sense because they are much younger and more talented.
Exslade ZX Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 No ramp tonight.... wonder who's gonna drive what into the arena. It's a supershow. There's never a ramp.
Danville_Wrestling Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Everyone prepare yourselves for JR's dumbfounded reaction when it's announced that HHH is the father!
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Protect kayfabe at all costs! The first rule of kayfabe is YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT KAYFABE!
Golgo 13 Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 This is pretty awful even by Raw's standards.
Danville_Wrestling Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 This opening segment is so sad. Maybe the worst I've ever seen.
Omar20003000 Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Well actually it is enough of this now....
Downhome Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Son of a bitch, for a second I thought they were going to make their upcoming match a Cry Baby match.
