Big Ol' Smitty Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 http://www.congress.org/congressorg/power_rankings/index.tt My rep is the 412th most powerful in Congress! Suck on that.
Art Sandusky Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Mine's 250th, and he's working on making the idea of offshore drilling in South Carolina a reality.
2GOLD Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Our guy is 45th. Course he represents a whole state, but it's still impressive when you consider the state.
Vampiro69 Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Well my house representative is a robust #332 in all. At least he is ranked higher then Dennis Kucinich. My senators are ranked #29 and 63 overall.
Sly Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Roy Blunt -> #19 That makes me the second most porwerful in this thread so far... yay?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted August 2, 2006 Author Report Posted August 2, 2006 Roy Blunt -> #19 That makes me the second most porwerful in this thread so far... yay? Yeah. But on the downside, you're represented by Roy Blunt.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted August 2, 2006 Author Report Posted August 2, 2006 Kentucky is actually one of the most powerful states on there. I guess because of Sen. McConnell and the 5 R House members.
CheesalaIsGood Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Kentucky is actually one of the most powerful states on there. I guess because of Sen. McConnell and the 5 R House members. I like to pronounce Kentucky like Daniel Day Lewis does in Last of the Mohicans. "Ken-TUCK-ee!"
Guest Felonies! Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Haha, their Mark Pryor isn't worth shit either.
RepoMan Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Tom Reynolds with a solid 29 in the House, which sucks b/c I really hate the guy. I wish they had user comments like w/ the WWE Power 25.
devo Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Three Democrats combined on the Top Ten lists. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.
jwest27 Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Woooo, go J. Dennis Hastert! Numbah one! I don't follow politics at all! Woooooo!
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Sly, are you a Democrat or a Republican?
teke184 Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 My Congressman, Richard Baker, is #23 for the Republican House caucus and #31 for all House members. (He's #3 in his House class (1986) behind Denny Hastert (R-IL) and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)) My senators, Mary Landrieu and David Vitter, are #60 and #78 in the Senate, respectively. (Vitter is #3 in his Senate class, behind Barack Obama (D-IL) and Tom Coburn (R-OK). Landrieu is #9 in her class (1996), but the #2 Dem in that class behind Dick Durbin(D-IL).)
Dr. Zaius Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Woooo, go J. Dennis Hastert! Numbah one! I don't follow politics at all! Woooooo! You know he's the Speaker of the House, right?
jwest27 Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Yeah, I knew that. Him, Blagojevich(yay copy+paste), and Obama are pretty much the only Illinois political guys I could name off the top of my head.
Guest Felonies! Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Don't forget Dick Durbin! Dick: "America = Nazis!" Daley: "Take it back dumbass" Dick: "You just didn't get what I meant"
