OAO Raw Thread - August/7th/2006.

This Raw was ridiculous. They buried the Women's title, clearly pointed out that Edge is being overlooked despite being WWE Champion, put Kane over Shelton for no reason in the third IC title number one contenders match in the last four weeks, had Cena cut an absolutely moronic promo, more Diva Search shit polluting my TV, completely wasted Umaga's win over HHH in a repeat of last week with HBK, and Shane and Vince dressed and Elvis and never going the fuck away.

 

A lobotomized chimp could write a more entertaining 2 hour show of wrestling. Flair and Foley's promos, along with Edge as WWE champion are the only things keeping me watching Raw right now.

 

Trish took both of those spears like an absolute champion though.

I just realised that we didn't get the Jeff Hardy return promo here either. Was there anything of note on it?

just highlights of him jumping around, you didn't miss anything...I'm more dissappointed that we haven't seen Harry Smith's official debut yet.

It's pretty shitty of Hogan to wait a whole week before ruling himself in or out of Summerslam. At least if he'd pulled out right away they could have debuted Harry Smith on Raw this week and had him come to defend Brooke's honor or whatever bullshit they had planned.
