Rhymefest

I bought this album last month, I must say that this album is solid. Some good standout tracks "Bullet," "Fever." and "Dyanomite." I got it cheap for like 8 bucks at a circuit city. This is a sleeper album that gets no hype thats better than whats out now. IMO Thoughts?

One of the better albums out this year. Rhymefest is a really overlooked MC.

 

Usually most battle MC's can't really put out a good album, but Rhymefest proved he has all-around skills. I remember him when he won Scribble Jam in 03.

 

Some good production on Blue Collar, from No I.D., Kanye, and Cool and Dre.

another great great album from this year. some really fun tracks. including build me up (buttercup) sang by the late GREAT odb. if you're thinking cold blooded, this is way way better. dude even samples the strokes. weird. brand new with kanye is remarkable, too. all around, its great. don't think about him being a "battle mc". this is just a rapper like any other rapper. leave the gimmicks out of it. it usually clouds the work, and some fols perception of it.

I named this in my top albums of the year this far thread awhile back, and I still do.

 

I've been tellin' peeps to watch this guy for a while now.

 

Everything I've heard from him has blown me away. Dude's an EmCee's EmCee.
