I don't want to sound like a whiner or anything, but got damn he has a gif in his avi and a gif in his signature, and it's taking much slower to read posts and scroll down when ever I need to. Can somthing be done about this? LOTC please take the gif out of your signature.

We don't have anything in the rules against animated gifs in signatures. If enough posters think it is a problem we might consider limiting them. In the meantime, consider turning off signatures. Go to "my controls," and click "board settings" under options. From here you can turn avatars, signatures and images on or off.

Agreed with Al. Animated avatars are ok, since they are fairly small files, but if you have a bigger one in your sig that might be a problem for those with slower connections.

If you use Firefox you can block the images that are bothering you.
