Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Why doesn't MSNBC just admit Tennessee is full of racists? You know they want to. Oh shush, Gator boy. (Go Vols, even if the state went Republican)

Hasbeen1 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Why doesn't MSNBC just admit Tennessee is full of racists? You know they want to. Oh shush, Gator boy. (Go Vols, even if the state went Republican) One of the commentators on MSNBC said basically TN is racist if Ford wasn't elected, so there you go. The national media jumped on the ad, used it to attack Republicans in general. If the whitest county in the state goes for Ford by 30 percent after the ad airs, you know it didn't accomplish what it wanted if it was actually a black-white thing. Most of Corker's big wins were in the wealthier areas of the state, suburban areas. I did have to laugh-in an exit poll, the number with less than a high school education voted something around 70-30 for Ford.

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I haven't watched much of MSNBC's coverage at all tonight. The 10-11pm hour was on NBC, but their cable news channel is unwatchable for me. It's pretty much been CNN for their phat-up set and going over to Fox every now and then to see reactions to Democratic victories.
Timmy8271 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I've watched MSNBC all night. I love that the only Conservative on this channel is Joe Scarbrough. Bow-tie guy must have went to bed. Yay Tester is winning with 47% in. Not like that means anything.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I am still..really pissed off about Erlich losing. I wasn't even this pissed off about Bush getting re-elected 2 years ago..
BUTT 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I saw Ford on Bill Maher's show a couple of weeks ago and he never seemed to smile. His general demeanor was that of someone who was very cold and humorless. Don't blame racism for this one. He just wasn't very likable.

BUTT 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I pity you. When the terrorist do attack again, they are very likely to attack Democrat stronghold cities. You are in their cross hairs. Out here in the rugged, glorious conservative mountain states, the terrorists would be in our crosshairs. Terrorists don't want to tangle with us. They know that blue states are a much easier target, like Spain or England. Yes - they will do someting besides whine! They's first go to set up their abortion agenda! They will set up all their people in places so that conservatives and Christians will be frustrated by their attacks on them. IF the Democrats are a majority after this election, we conservative Christians will NOT be able to swing the Supreme Court to the right and the anti-God left groups will be able to block Christians at every turn! THIS is the most critical election of our time! Now it looks like we will have two years of hell! Well, Conservatives decided to "teach" the Republicans a lesson once again! The last time Christians sat out a critical election in '92, we got not just one term (4 years) of anti-God legislation under Bill Clinton - but 8 years of hell! Within 2 days of taking office, Clinton reversed years of pro-life progress by issuing five executive orders reversing Title 10 regulations banning abortion referral by federal employees, repealing the Mexico City Policy restricting federal funding of international organizations that work to reverse countries' abortion laws, negating the ban on funding for fetal tissue transplants, ordering military hospitals to perform abortions, and asking the FDA to "review" the import ban on RU 486. We suffered TWO terms under his ungodly leadership - ALL because we were "teaching" Republicans a "lesson!" What is that saying - Cutting off our nose to spite our face? Like I've heard it said: We deserve the government we get! There's not nearly as much wackiness at Freerepublic as I had hoped for. That's the best I could find in a short time period. The first one isn't necessarily wrong, but another reason for a lack of rural attacks would be the lack of political importance, as targets. I do agree, unless you've got a bomb, an armed population would be a lot harder to deal with a disarmed population. Maybe the gang members in cities would fight back for those who gave up arms. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I always thought the tax out in California was really high as it was. They were going to increase it again? Keep in mind I'm speaking from spitting distance of Tobacco Road here, where a pack of, say, Camels is only $3.00. My friend just came back from San Diego about a month ago and they were closer to $5.00. The extent of this night's victory didn't hit me until the few minutes MSNBC took to show the various Republican incumbent losses, and the House majority looks pretty solid (in the neighborhood of 30 or more) whereas the Senate majority we're all waiting to hear about would be one guy at most. Also, the areas in which Democrats won are surprising to me. Indiana, Kentucky, KANSAS?!
