Art Sandusky Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 ND goes down. Hooray. Alabama came to play today, and the Vols need to get their shit together in the 4th quarter. Three interceptions by Ainge is inexcusable, no matter how pick-happy the opposing defense is.
Bored Posted October 21, 2006 Author Report Posted October 21, 2006 And UCLA blows it and probably hands Notre Dame a BCS bowl while also keeping their very slim BCS title hopes alive.
Art Sandusky Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Apparently. THEY AREN'T THAT GOOD GODDAMMIT
J.B. Buzzkill Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Guh, UCLA handed ND that game. Marty Schottenheimer thinks they were too conservative at the end.
Bored Posted October 21, 2006 Author Report Posted October 21, 2006 OMG WASHINGTON HAIL MARY TIES THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously flip over to FSN right now to see the replay as it was a tipped ball. Incredible.
Slayer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 *changes channel* Good job of pushing the ball right into the receiver's hands
Guest Smues Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 That was fucking incredible. If only Cal hadn't hit that 2 point conversion earlier that woulda won the game.
Slayer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Watching that again, that's about a .7 on the Nebraska kicked-ball scale
Urban Warfare Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Boston College just beat FSU, 24-19.
Slayer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 And Washington follows up by letting Cal run in on the first play of OT
Art Sandusky Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Whew, Tennessee finally takes the lead. 16-13 with about three minutes left.
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Boston College with a BIG road win at Florida State.
Guest Smues Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 And the hail mary will be forgotten quite quickly as UW loses another close game. Fuck.
Bored Posted October 21, 2006 Author Report Posted October 21, 2006 Ugh, Cal wins. Oh well that will just make Stanford's shocking upset in the Big Game for their first win of the year all the more sweeter. I wanna cry. Although I'm not liking the results this has been by far the best Saturday of the year.
Vern Gagne Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Shawn Bell of Baylor 33-55 394 yards 5 TD 2 int. Including three TD's in the 4th quarter.
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 San Jose State vs. Nevada on ABC? What the hell is this??
Vern Gagne Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Idaho's it keeping close against Boise St. Maybe San Diego St. should have hired Dennis Erickson.
Urban Warfare Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Wow, Washington State is hammering Oregon right now, 27-3 late in the third.
Art Sandusky Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Goddammit, Corso put a tiger head on. Clemson's fucked.
Bored Posted October 22, 2006 Author Report Posted October 22, 2006 Idaho scores a touchdown but can't convert the two point conversion, 28-26 Boise State with seven minutes to go. Looks like Wazzu will hang on for the first real upset of the day after a lot of close calls.
Art Sandusky Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I've gotten shit from Clemson fans so many times whenever I've had a purple lighter out at a bar. COME ON YOUR TEAM WEARS IT
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Pitts gets to within 3, 4th quarter, trails Rutgers 13-10 with 13:23 left. Go Rutgers! Just so I have somewhere to go tonight since my school has Fall Break, its 15 degrees out, and Rutgers should be celebrating a HUGE nationall televised win if they can do it. Defense has been great in this one. RU led Pitt 6-3 at halftime. Palko just threw a broken play strike to the back of the endzone to get it within 3. My two favorite teams of the past couple years have been Oregon and Rutgers. Because a good friend goes to Oregon for grad school and Rutgers is the local favorite, even though they've been really bad. So good for them. OU is mailing it in after the Cal game, it seems.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Ray Rice broke a huge run then just scored on a 3-4 yrd TD. Rutgers 20, Pitt 10.
Fökai Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Is that quarterback from Georgia Tech (Ball?) always this paranoid? There were three consecutive plays where he threw as if he was being rushed, yet there was no one around him for five yards.
Bored Posted October 22, 2006 Author Report Posted October 22, 2006 After a day filled with close, exciting games I guess it's fitting the best match-up on paper has turned into a laugher. Clemson has a real shot to run the table into a BCS bowl.
