USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I think the loss will do a lot of good for the Bears. It will teach them to not take any game for granted, and that REX GROSSMAN PASSING EVERY DAMNED TIME isn't going to do the trick. Now they fell back to earth and they can go back to doing what they do the best, running the ball and defense.
Vampiro69 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 "The Bears are who we thought they were!"
Guest Princess Leena Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 God, that fucking Bills game was awful. You're not kidding. And I agree with you on all counts. I didn't want to join the "Please retire, Favre" club, but it's sad watching him now. So many extremely stupid decisions in a game where if you don't fuck up, you'll almost certainly win because Losman is ass.
Guest NYankees Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 The Vikings lose again and are killing their chances at making the playoffs.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Now, if only Minnesota could choke against San Francisco, that would make my day going into a showdown next week for 2nd place in the NFC North! Probably not going to happen, though. It's Upset Sunday in the NFL! Everyone wins except the winners, and everyone loses except the losers!
CanadianChris Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Am I ever glad I didn't have to watch the Niners game. Chargers go up by two scores.
Guest Paul Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Nice win by the Giants. My fears of this weeks game being a trap, almost came true. Now, for next Sunday Night, things will be REAL interesting.
Hawkius Maximus Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 ...That Steeler just did one of the best back bumps I've EVER seen.
CanadianChris Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Fifth Steeler turnover of the day seals the win for Denver.
Brett Favre Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Crazy ass play in the Steeler/Bronco game. Wards dives into the endzone for the TD, and Lynch forces the fumble RIGHT before he gets to the goaline. It looks ten times better than how I just explained it.
Guest NYankees Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Another bad fumble by the Steelers. They have really had a Bi Poloar 2006, going from Super Bowl Champs to this. That being said, they are going to be a tough opponent/spoiler for alot of teams in the last 2 months.
MillenniumMan831 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Cleveland's K Phil Dawson just racked up FG #6. I can't imagine any non-Brown or Charger fan being entertained by this game.
CanadianChris Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Cleveland's K Phil Dawson just racked up FG #6. I can't imagine any non-Brown or Charger fan being entertained by this game. CBS must agree. They didn't switch to that game after Denver/Pittsburgh ended.
Hawk 34 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I just need Cleveland to punch in one more FG to beat the spread. Edit: I'll take the TD.
Guest Felonies! Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I think the loss will do a lot of good for the Bears. Now they fell back to earth and they can go back to doing what they do the best, running the ball and defense. What needs to happen in the coming weeks is Messrs. Smith, Turner, and Rivera learning to adapt to other teams like they adapt to us. The Bears have been solved: relentlessly blitz Grossman on defense, throw short passes on offense. They need to change things up, and like you said, scale back the passing game a LOT. And who knows how good the Bears look for the coming weeks with Berrian and Urlacher hurt?

LT just grabbed the onside kick and the Browns cover.

Well, Strahan, Osi, Madison and Plaxico were all hurt today. I'd imagine ONE of the ends will nut up for the Bears game, and that Plax's back issues were only supposed to hinder him for a week or so, anyway. I was so afraid BOTH teams would lose today, after the "Sunday Night" announcement and all the hype.
J.B. Buzzkill Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Christ, these Chevy commercials are about as bad as the Jamster bullshit on Comedy Central back in January '05. Fuck John Mellencamp.
Art Sandusky Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Kudos to the NBC studio crew for always coming down hard on the T.O. shit.
Slayer Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Christ, these Chevy commercials are about as bad as the Jamster bullshit on Comedy Central back in January '05. Fuck John Mellencamp. Do you hate America?
Hawk 34 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 While they deserve praise and it's an accurate comparison, I wish they would all drop the Marino/Montana stuff in regards to Manning/Brady.

NoCalMike Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 The Redskins/Cowboys game was one of the worst officiated games I have seen this season, so many blatant calls go without a whistle. Redskins win, WHOO!!
randomguy Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I am praying for the Patriots to win because I am so fucking sick of the Colts and Manning. Then again, I guess people not from Boston feel the same about Brady and the Pats. Edit: Nice play of 4th down. Edit2: Can we let the players play the game instead of the refs?
Guest Felonies! Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Then again, I guess people not from Boston feel the same about Brady and the Pats. Edit: Nice play of 4th down. No, the Patriots are underexposed. Just ask ESPN.
CanadianChris Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 "Without overhyping it, this is like Van Gogh and Michelangelo in a paint-off." Thanks for not overhyping it, Al.
CanadianChris Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Brady should have quick-snapped there. This is getting overturned, and Indy is getting the ball back.
HarleyQuinn Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 As a Pats fan, I was surprised... and the play stands? Wow. Even I think that should have been overturned.
2GOLD Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Damn, Sterling just went the hell off on the Cowboys. Ouch. Brady up for the Player of the Week....yeah....now I hate the little prick even more. And yes, I'm a damn Patriots fan. AND NOW THE BRADY HYPE VIDEO. The foxhole? Come on now, he's not really a solider. He's a guy in football pads. Lets stop with the Kellan Winslow opinions on football is a war.
randomguy Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 What the fuck are these officials doing? This is embarrassing.
