Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted November 27, 2006 2 and 1/2 men, like it's predecessor (Raymond) gets good ratings despite no real visible fanbase. I suspect the same people that watch and apparently enjoy 2 and 1/2 are the same people who brought Creed and read John Grisham. Raymond had a big fanbase with people my parents' age. Usually the stupid ones who had a mess of a family. I guess that's why they could relate to it.
Guest Paul Report post Posted November 27, 2006 Agreed that the best Ryan moments come with his facial reactions, usually due to Michael. He's a much better writer, as well.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 The two best Ryan recations have been to the following Kelly: "I hooked up with her on February 13th" *Hair goes crazy* Dwight and Angela: The "cookie" incident.

Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...t&p=2369790 I think "The War at Home" and "Til Death" are two of the better "live action" sitcoms on TV right now, personally. Uh-oh, Marvin has a NEW CHALLENGER! HANDSOME FIGHTERS NEVER LOSE A BATTLE! Motherfucking badass killer of people
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 The Office is really funny, but you have to get the right episode. The last couple episodes this season, have been way overdone on everything to the point that they're just not funny anymore. Every episode from Season 1 though and about 90% of the episodes from Season 2 were just downright hilarious. If you watch 'Diversity Day' and still don't like the Office, you just have a shitty sense of humor.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 I'll admit that it appeals to a certain sense of humor. It's not for everyone, but the people that don't like it seem too stuck on the idea that it just isn't any good.
FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2006 Family Guy differs from the Simpsons in that, at one point, the Simpsons were not made up of 100% hideously repetitive pop culture references. Seriously, the last ep I saw had something like four "this is almost as ____ as the the time I _____" (cut to random ass 80's tv show / movie / song / etc.) The creators talk about this on the Commentaries. Like how they had time for Lisa to sing Jazz Man to Bleeding Gums Murphy, but now due to there being so many commercials and other factors they don't have time to make shit seem as important as it should. ... 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 I just watched a DVD of it. Should I have been depressed afterwards as the credits silently, shamefully rolled by? I didn't need to watch it. I lived it.
