The Amazing Rando Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 No mention that it was the "Terri Invitational Tournament"
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Steelers should be practicing so they dont get shut out again.

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Umaga's getting the belt.
Quasar Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Umaga in the World Title makes Baby Jesus cry. Seriously, how can we have a World Champion that can't even cut a promo and is a 2-D stereotypical stereotype?
Mecca Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 "John Cena has great respect" uh since when...JR forgets about that crowd last night....
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 He's a good worker and a believable monster. This generation's (much weaker) Yokozuna.

TheFranchise Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Umaga in the World Title makes Baby Jesus cry. Seriously, how can we have a World Champion that can't even cut a promo and is a 2-D stereotypical stereotype? We're live, pal!

Seriously, how can we have a World Champion that can't even cut a promo and is a 2-D stereotypical stereotype? He won't win.....it's just a program to fill time before Mania. Since Cena really had no one to work with in the time frame.
Guest cardsfan31 Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 The shirt is off shits goin down.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Fun fact: Umaga's already pinned Cena this year one-on-one.

Quasar Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 The use of "stereotypical stereotype" was intentional to illustrate that he is literally a STEREOTYPE of a Samoan Savage. He has no characteristics besides being a STEREOTYPE OF A SAMOAN SAVAGE. Being a good worker and believable monster doesn't crack it. There's a reason that we never got, "Bam Bam Bigelow- WWF Champion". People want engaging characters and people that they can either intensely hate (for a reason) or relate to. I just can't get emotionally invested in Umaga's character. EDIT- Good catch Hawk, I had completely blocked the Yokozuna era out of my mind. But then again, Yokozuna was a Polynesian Sumo Wrestler who represented Japan with his manager Mr. Fuji and American Spokesperson James E. Cornette. Now, Armando is no Jim Cornette.

death_by_burrito Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Don't worry, we aren't going to get "Umaga- WWE Champion" either. Like it's been said, he won't win. It's just to fill time for something else to come along.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Umaga's not supposed to be likeable, he's supposed to get his babyface opponent a great reaction. That's why he faced so many no-names early on Raw, to build him up and help out the big-name babyfaces he faces. Like Cena. Even the Cena haters aren't gonna love the idea of Umaga with the belt.
death_by_burrito Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 He'll lose in 13:32. Dude, you are on tonight!
