NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/edmond/trailer/ I didn't realize this was already on DVD. Looks like a movie, set in the 80's about the human condition. Or as someone put it, "Falling Down" on Acid. I am going to the video store tonight anyway, so I will check to see if they have this!!! Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 I loved it. Best performance from Macy since the overrated "The Cooler", and it was directed by Stuart Gordon.
In Credible 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 I don't see how "The Cooler" was overrated since barely anyone even knew about it.
notJames 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 What he said. I thought The Cooler was great. And "Falling Down" on acid is exactly what I thought when I saw Edmond. Highly intense and thought-provoking. Mamet at his finest. Macy definitely excelled in this role. Nice cameos from Mena Suvari and Julia Stiles among others. King Kamala 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 Besides, hasn't William H. Macy been in like three movies since The Cooler? One of which being Doogal. William H. Macy always manages to kick ass in everything he's in....well except Doogal. Haven't seen Edmond yet but eventually will on HBO or DVD.
