CanadianChris Posted January 1, 2007 Author Report Posted January 1, 2007 Why the hell dont they go to the Denver game when its of more importance to the playoffs than this Colts game? Uh, because it's on Fox?
naiwf Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 How did San Diego earn the # 1 seed when Marvin said that they might not make the playoffs? If Denver continues this chokejob and the Dolphins don't make a miraculous comeback it looks like we'll get Indy/KC and NE/NYJ which is a pretty solid WC round for the AFC.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Why the hell dont they go to the Denver game when its of more importance to the playoffs than this Colts game? Uh, because it's on Fox? Thats a good reason. I Could have swore I Saw CBS graphics on the highlight I saw of it but yeah.. So Im watching that game now, 23-16 SF with 6 to go..

Just remember the Ravens beat the Chargers..they also beat the Chiefs if they make it in.

Hawk 34 Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Lemon threw it to the upper deck and Indy survives that brief scare and lock down on the 3 seed to play KC next week.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Denver just tied the game.. Its either going to be Indy/NYJ and NE/Den or Indy/KC and NE/NYJ in the first case, the way Denver always plays NE, I could see both Wild Cards advancing. In the second case, Indy will get whooped by KC and NE will beat the Jets. First case, Ravens would play Denver, second case Ravens would play NE. Hmm..which am I rooting for???

Colts are going to lose in the first round, its just of matter of to what team. KC beating them is an absolute given with LJ, but I do think the Jets could beat them as well. Denver can make the playoffs with a tie and its going to OT. HMM.
CanadianChris Posted January 1, 2007 Author Report Posted January 1, 2007 Overtime. Denver wins the toss.

KC beating them is an absolute given with LJ, but I do think the Jets could beat them as well. Kansas City is 3-5 on the road this season, with all their wins coming against losing teams, and lost a road game to CLEVELAND. Meanwhile, Indianapolis is 8-0 at home.
Slayer Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Either way, Indy gets an AFC West team at home, which almost guarantees them a ticket to Baltimore in two weeks
Matt Young Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 I don't get how Marvin can say "KC beating Indy is a given". Seriously man... Who are you kidding?

Matt Young Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Denver punts. They may well be fucked.

Yes, but somewhere in that HD clarity, Marvin found Indy's weakness.

CanadianChris Posted January 1, 2007 Author Report Posted January 1, 2007 Either way, Indy gets an AFC West team at home, which almost guarantees them a ticket to Baltimore in two weeks They get the Jets if Denver wins. The hell? How does that work Denver owns the tiebreaker over the Jets and would get the fifth seed if they win today.
Hawk 34 Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 It'd figure that Denver will take that spot by walking in with a damn tie. They really shouldn't be dumb here, just run down the clock and shoot for the tie.
Bored Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 This is going to be interesting to see what the Broncos do on offense because a tie still gets them in the playoffs although they'd be the 6th seed instead.
Guest Princess Leena Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 The NFC Wild Card round have the most unappealing games ever. Prepare for a week of horrendous hype for shitty teams on ESPN. Go for the tie, Ratahan.
razazteca Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 What are the match ups for the 1st round of the playoffs?

Yes, but somewhere in that HD clarity, Marvin found Indy's weakness. Larry Johnson is like the 2nd or 3rd best RB in the league and you have him facing the Colts terrible run defense. A month ago after that first real bad loss to the Jags, everyone was "The Colts are gonna be 1 and done!"..how does a huge loss to Houston and a squeaker win over Miami make that any different? and SF is almost in FG range..
CanadianChris Posted January 1, 2007 Author Report Posted January 1, 2007 NFC has Dallas/Seattle on Saturday and New York/Philadelphia on Sunday.
Hawk 34 Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 What are the match ups for the 1st round of the playoffs? Dallas @ Seattle New York @ Philadelphia If Denver Wins/Ties Denver @ New England New York @ Indianapolis If Denver loses KC @ Indy New York @ New England
