CBright7831 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 For fuck's sake. Yeah! A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go see Epic Movie on Friday, and I graciously declined his offer. Had I gone with them, it would have been the first time I would have got to hang out with anybody since November. So here I am, bragging about my lack of social life on TSM. Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 Movie goers are retarded. Actually, I take that back: Even the retarded wouldn't see this shit.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 In the world of the entertainment the general public would rather waste their money on something familiar than something original and the Hollywood producers are more than happy to make the formulaic cut & paste movie until it isn't profitable . Retards won't see this they are too busy auditioning for American Idol. I feel sorry for todays youth who are iodated with these MTV style movies.

C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2007 Night at the Museum has now set a box office record. It has the highest gross of any movie that I do not know a single person who's seen it. Seriously, what demographic is that movie so appealing to?
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2007 It appeals to everyone, that's why it's doing so well. Plus, it's got a great plot. I saw it and it was fine. Not good, not bad, just there. Dick Van Dyke rocked it though

Seriously, what demographic is that movie so appealing to? You're kidding right? Well kids would like to see this because it looks silly. Since the kids are going, adults have to go. The teenage/college kids would see this because of Stiller. And maybe a few old people want to see it because of Dick Van Dyke. That just about covers every demographic. You forgot the ladies wanting to go so they can swoon over Owen Wilson dressed like a cowboy. And it has monkeys! Who doesn't like monkeys?!?! Monkeys that pee dammit! And for the men wanting to stare, Clara Gugino in knee high boots and the lovely Mizuo Peck dressed as a Indian MILF Sacajawea. All the bases are covered from top to bottom. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2007 I was afraid that Blood and Chocolate would be #1. Uh..I havent heard anything about that..so unless theres a massive ad campaign I somehow missed.. See, people were complaining about the shitty black movie was #1 again, when an even shittier movie has to come along and knock it off. No way it does 2 weeks in a row #1, but this weekends releases aren't very strong..Ive got a feeling "the Messengers" is a flop..
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2007 I get annoyed when a movie gets a ton of Oscar nominations and goes back into a wider release. I saw the Deprated when it came out. And they're making a big deal with it's "re-release" Going to see Pan's tomrrow. I'll post my views after
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2007 I remember everyone was cracking up during the trailer for Blood and Chocolate, and then when they revealed the title, everyone laughed even harder. I think Messengers will be #1, Epic Movie will prob have a big drop

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 I just got back from seeing "Catch and Release," as it was my wife's turn to pick the movie. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 I saw "Stomp the Yard" this week, as every 2 weeks my friends and I go to see the stupidest looking movie really wasted. It wasn't horrible, but was boring at many times, so we should've went to Epic Movie, I guess.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 I remember everyone was cracking up during the trailer for Blood and Chocolate, and then when they revealed the title, everyone laughed even harder. Well Underworld (2003) made $51 million and the sequel made $62 million so there is a market for werewolf chick flicks.

Too bad Blood & Chocolate suffered from both a bad script and unknown cast.
