CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Hey, the Leafs are leading 4-1 in the third again. Let's see how they blow this one.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Sabres are sluggish in this game. Understandable. Watch them still win.
treble 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Well, no comeback tonight. And the penalty killing was great. Go figure. The Leafs are going to end up missing by a point, just so their fans will have Friday night's game to look back on.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Sens laid the MURDERDEATHKILL on the Lightning, winning 7-2. It's looking more and more like Ottawa is going to have the second-best record in the East, yet be stuck with the fourth seed. I can't believe it only took the NBA a couple of years to realize the unfairness of this seeding system and make a good adjustment, and the NHL has had this for about a decade and done nothing. Actually, I can believe it.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted March 25, 2007 It really is ridiculous. The NFL should change it up, as well. Oh well, we want Ottawa again, anyway.

treble 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 You'd think Conklin would have learned to stay in the net after what happened to him last year in the Finals.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Pittsburgh is scary. I am completely scared to meet them in the first round. Halfway through the game, they're leading the Bruins 4-0 and it should really be 7 or 8.

Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Pens need to keep playing D like this if they've got any hope in the playoffs.

Mike wanna be 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2007 I'm not sure who to cheer for in the Islanders/Rangers game. I just cheer for an end in regulation; a win by either team hurts, but going to overtime just fucks Toronto big-time.

TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Today's the 10th anniversary of the infamous Red Wings/Avalanche brawl. That whole game wiht the brawl, Detroit's comeback and the McCarty's OT winner is one of my favorite hockey games ever.
Guest Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Kings signed Jack Johnson. He will wear #33, and hopefully he's just as tough as McSorley.
treble 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 If all the scores stay the same (Toronto, Montreal, and Jersey win, coupled with Tampa's loss), only 3 points between 6th and 11th in the East. Insane.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 If all the scores stay the same (Toronto, Montreal, and Jersey win, coupled with Tampa's loss), only 3 points between 6th and 11th in the East. Insane. Confirmed. The Habs win over the Rangers is MONSTER, and to a lesser extent, the Devils over the Isles is also helpful. The teams in 9, 10, and 11 all have one game at hand on teams 6,7,8. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 That shouldn't be too hard, unless Luongo breaks or tears something.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 Pittsburgh and New Jersey both clinched playoff spots last night. I think the Islanders are realistically out of the playoff race now, since DiPietro isn't coming back.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 The Canucks clinch a playoff berth! Yay! Now they just have to learn how to not choke in the playoffs Dan Cloutier is gone, and that's roughly 2/3 the battle. Luongo's never been, but he's performed in big games before (see the 2004 World Cup).
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted March 28, 2007 1 vs. 2 tonight with New Jersey (Yawn) at Buffalo. If the Sabres win, they virtually lock up the #1 seed.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 1 vs. 2 tonight with New Jersey (Yawn) at Buffalo. If the Sabres win, they virtually lock up the #1 seed. Eh, they've done that already. They close against Boston, Washington and Philly, and they get the Islanders this week too. If they don't pick up at least seven points against that crowd, they don't deserve the top seed. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 Clearly, Carolina doesn't want to make the playoffs if they're down two to the Flyers with 15 minutes to go in the 77th game of the season.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 That was New Jersey's game in hand against Pittsburgh, too. It's all tied up with five games to go. I like the Penguins to win the division now, and hopefully draw Montreal in the first round. That would be a great series to watch.
