Black Lushus Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 oh I know, I was actually honest-to-god curious.
Failed Bridge Posted April 11, 2007 Author Report Posted April 11, 2007 did they think you would pull a Private Pyle or something? Don't know. Once I get a few consults though then I imagine they'll have to take me since it would be discrimination not to. You can't take in a bunch of convicted felons but tell a now perfectly healthy man "no" because of some shit that went on a few years back.
Black Lushus Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 I thought the military was done taking on the dregs of society?
Matt Young Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 I thought the military was done taking on the dregs of society? Not the Army.
Guest Queen Leelee Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 That was Leena's lame attempt to get back at me for what I had said earlier. It wasn't lame. You were "depressed" or "bipolar" or some bullshit, and drove with the intent to kill. Obviously, the Marines are wise to back away from people like this. Not that I'm saying Adam is like you. But, he had similar issues that you had. And when many lives are on the line, dependable men are needed.
PLAGIARISM! Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 So are killing machines with nothing left to lose!
Guest Eagle Man Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 They are taking violent felons now.... Just wait until Al Davis is our Secretary of Defense!

Actually, I didn't "suffer" from any of that while I was in the service, only the occasional home sickness, which is common (especially during holidays). And even though most don't believe it, I was medically discharged due to a heat stroke, not because of me being bi-polar. Does it make you feel better about yourself when you drag someone else done due to their shortcomings?
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 I know it makes me feel better.
