RavishingRickRudo Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 From Meltzie: --It was reported today by Josh Gross that Mauricio Shogun Rua had signed a unique contract with two fights in Pride and two fights in UFC. If this is accurate, that would certainly seem to indicate a deal with both under the same umbrella would have been completed.

Lord of The Curry Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 There's been some scuttlebutt about Shogun/Jardine taking place at 71 but I'm not going to buy into that, especially since there seem to be duel rumours that Shogun will be fighting at PRIDE 34. But if UFC has in fact inked a deal..... "Oh shit." - The entire 205 division
razazteca Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Will this really happen or will it be another case like Wanderlei Silva which was only done to hype up PRIDE FC events? If it is true then Chuck Lindell and Tito Ortiz might be getting a couple of loses very soon. It's nice to see the 205 division getting built up beyond jobbers for the Iceman.
