This week in the NBA

Yao when he plays up to his hyped potential is frightening. 29 points so far and it's still the third quarter. He's gotten to the line a lot, but still. Poor Kwame.

Clippers win at Sacramento for the first time since 1997

1/2 game back of Denver and 1 1/2 up on Golden State

Jason Hart with 16 points 7 assists and 6 rebounds.

If Clippers make the playoffs Jason Hart is the best signing this season for any team

Whew. Nice job by the Rockets to hang in there and not just bend over when Kobe was tearing it up. A couple years ago, they probably give that game away. I've been very impressed with their ability to close out games this year. This should've been a lot easier, but when Kobe's making insane shots all over the place, what can you do? Thankfully the rest of the Lakers are garbage and the Rockets hit their FTs.

I still cannot get over that Raptors/Wizards game. Ruffin is just gonna get KILLED by the media. And Bosh's block at the end of overtime was great as well. And at the rate we're going, we may get possibly 7 more games between these two in the postseason.

The Pacers lost by 8 to the Magic tonight. Earlier in the year, prior to the trade with Golden State, they lost a game to the Magic by a mere five points. Clearly we're seeing now that the Warriors are the big winners in this midseason trade, and the Pacers need to fire their coach and blow it up.

Yeah, I feel bad for the Pacers and Rick Carlisle. Lots of bad luck with injuries this year, acclimating new players, and the team still looks like they're trying hard out there. Though I was cursing their game tonight which would NOT END. I guess there's something to be said for playing to win no matter what, but the Rockets were on. You could tell the ESPN guys didn't want to be there at all.

As much as I feel bad for Carlisle, though, he must have caught Ike Diogu with his wife or something...the guy consistently produces when he gets minutes, but...he's not. It certainly doesn't help people's perception of the trade when the guy who was supposedly a deal-breaker in this thing is riding the bench in favor of Shawne Williams and Maceo Baston.

I know we're doing bad right now, but it just irritates me that people are now saying "it's CLEAR now that GS made out better in trade", just because of our record since the All-Star break. Failing to mention, of course, the injury woes and brutally tough schedule we've had since then. Once we get through a full training camp with this team, I think we'll be fine.

On the bright side, all this losing is getting us closer and closer to that top 10 lottery spot, which means we keep our first-rounder.

Maceo Baston is back in the league?

Man, the Bulls just made a thrilling comeback and their game vs. Cleveland is going into OT tied at 100. But, after ben Gordon blew a chance to win the game, the Bulls got screwed after Cleveland called a time out after the player was out of bounds. What the fuck.

I just hope the Bulls get their much deserved win, 2 seed, and don't face the Heat again in the first round.

I'm a big Cavs fan but there was no way they deserved to win that game. The last 5 mins they were in classic let LeBron hold it until under 5 to shoot and shot a forced shot mode. I'm more of a college hoops fan so I really liked the way the Bulls ran the offense. Best part of the game was when the Cavs shot an air ball and got a 24 second violation and Walton insisted it hit the rim when the replay showed it clearly missed. I'll admit Pavlovic was way out of bounds. I'm just glad the Cavs could win a meaningful game on the road.

Looking forward to a possible Suns/Clippers redux. Not that I wouldn't enjoy the Suns against Denver, but that was maybe the most exciting series last year, IMO.

There is still alot of ball left to be played,

Clippers are 2 1/2 back of the Lakers with 2 games left against them

The Hornets are three back with 2 games against the Clippers left

So the Clippers can be as high as six or out of the whole thing altogether

As a Clipper fan I'm hoping they do anything they can to avoid the Suns

Jordan Farmar could possibly play in a NBDL game and NBA game on the same day

He will play for the Anaheim D-Fenders tommorow at 2:30 pm in Staples and will then suit up for the Lakers when they play the Kings in the same building at 6:30 pm
