AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2009 FUCKING VISIONS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2009 To elaborate: For whatever reason, I figured I'd go for the Bladder of Steel achievement. I started at 10-something AM. Just went on Hard bass, since I figured I'd kill myself trying anything else. Going along fine, no breaks, no pauses, no accidental guide button pushes, no dead batteries, through 81 of 84 songs... I hit "Visions". I fail "Visions". I fucking hate "Visions".

AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2009 When I noticed "Thrash Unreal" on there, I had to remind myself "Oh, I've got 'Stop!' as well." It's getting to the point where I've got so many tunes, I forget what's there. Including the 84 songs on the RB2 disc, I've got a total of 232 Rock Band songs. (Plus 4 other guitar games. And 2 more old Harmonix games.) O_O I'm sure a lot of people have more, but... cripes.

Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2009 I wasn't big into grunge, but Jeremy and Evenflow for sure. Any other tracks worth it for the guitar/bass parts?
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2009 That is tremendous news for my microsoft points just sitting there. Porch and Once should be crazy fun.

YourKock'sReallyGreat 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2009 What kind of percentage do the artists get off of each song being sold? I was joking with a friend that rock groups have had people buying their music 3-5 times over for each song. You bought the record, then the cassette, then the cd, then the mp3/4 and now on Rock Band/Guitar Hero.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 I think I might have to get Ten. Some of the songs look .
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Ten "Once" is sooo good on drums. I'm actually hitting a few difficult bits today too. Red to yellow to green roll at about 5:36 on "Black": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bdsdDkptmM And then I think I hit the similar bit once at about 5:04 on "Alive". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q041GgzrClg
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 I finished the album challenge, and strangely enough, they excluded "Master/Slave". It's pretty much the "Silver" of the pack, apparently. Still, I'm not sure what that's about. And this purchase puts me over 100 downloaded tracks.

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 Damn, that's some quality DLC coming out next week. For the unaware C'mon C'mon is used as the theme to Rescue Me. It also has a nifty video. But... Spongebob?
KingPK 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 There was some Naked Brothers Band and ICarly stuff put up a few months ago, so it isn't completely out of left field. I'm surprised we haven't had Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers songs added yet (though I saw plenty of shitty Hannah Montana Guitar Hero knockoffs around Christmas at work). AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 "Warriors of Time" should be familiar to anyone who plays NHL 09 with the default soundtrack.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Damn I have GH: WT, but after seeing the video of 'don't stop believing" I wanna get Rock Band 2 RIGHT NOW!!!!
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 I think the DLC works for both Rockbands, so just get #1 used if you want to save some cash.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Finally, I can edit out the superfluous exclamation points in my own title. Also, Tiki- Rock Band 1 DLC works with Rock Band 2, but I'm not certain that it works the other way around. Also, I think you're on the PS3 only, Mike. I don't know if they haveit set up like on the 360, but on the Xbox, you can pay $5 for a code that lets you import all but 3 songs from RB1 (just rent it, borrow from a friend, etc.) for play in RB2. Much better use of your money, IMO.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 There is no Rock Band 2 DLC. It all works with the first and second game. No need to transfer licenses, or re-download for both games, or anything like that. (I'm not sure if it'll work with a Track Pack disc, though I kind of doubt it.) I think even the 20 bonus tracks you get with RB2 can be used with the RB1 disc. It's more the Guitar Hero end of things where you have to worry about DLC not crossing from game to game. (The exception being Death Magnetic working in GHIII, GHWT, and GH: Metallica.) And the export tool is on PS3 as well.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 AC/DC Track Pack $9.99 at EB Canada starting Sunday.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 My wife picked me up a 2nd bass pedal in anticipation of eventually getting GH Metallica in a week or two, however are there any songs that utilize double bass(I know you can technically use the double bass pedals whenever you want, but I am speaking of songs that call for it) besides the Metallica game available as DLC for either RB or GHWT?
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 I know there are none for Rock Band.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 Two pedals would come in handy for the likes of Disturbed and All that Remains, but they weren't charted with double bass in mind. There's a lot of Rock Band songs that are very much under-charted on bass drum for the sake of a single pedal. And I think Expert+ is new with GH: Metallica.
