CM Punk, ECW’s fastest-rising young star, shocked the Land of the Extreme and his legion of fans when he joined the conniving New Breed last week on ECW on Sci Fi. He told WWE.com why he made his decision, but will he have anything to say before the fans in Italy? Things looked bleak for the Originals as one of their cornerstones, Sabu, appeared to be severely injured after New Breed leader Elijah Burke aggravated a neck injury he suffered at his hands in an Extreme Rules Eight-Man-Tag Team Match. What is the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac’s condition? And with the addition of Punk to the New Breed, will the Originals be forced to seek reinforcements?

 

An exuberant Mr. McMahon boasted last week that he showed ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley – in bloody fashion on Raw – that he would make his life a living hell after he embarrassed him at WrestleMania 23. The Chairman has vowed to take the ECW World Championship when Lashley defends the title in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match against the billionaire, his son Shane and Umaga at Backlash. Will Lashley have a response to the maniacal, bald billionaire?

 

Snitsky showed the Land of the Extreme that no one – not even Extreme Exposé – is safe when he’s around. But Balls Mahoney thwarted the evil intentions the deranged monster had for Exposé’s Layla.

So basically its going to be like Raw -- start out with Mr. McMahon rant about Bobby Lashley then a few soccer chants from the crowd then CM Punk explains why he joined New Breed add in a spot with guest announcer introducing the strippers Kelly and the two brunettes then finish with RVD/Sabu vs New Breed.

The friggin bookers are going to ruin this angle wih the timing of it all. Punk's big mic explaination will be largely lost in front of an Italian crowd. Why couldn't they have his turn and explaination saved until ECW was in the North East USA?

Well from reading the SD/ECW results on the other thread it doesn't sound like there's much to worry about on that front.

Matt Striker is in a suit this week what happened did he get promoted to guidance counselor or VP? I would rather see Matt Striker as the voice of the New Breed I'm not sold on Burke's mic skills yet. Coming to think of it I think he is 3rd behind Striker and Punk out of the members of the New Breed.

Each and every week, Elijah continues to impress me. They had a great core with Burke and Punk for ECW not to mention RVD whom is still quite over. Once Lashley moves over to Raw or SD full-time, ECW will really be rolling.

So Santino was born in Italy, moved to Canada to train as a pro wrestler, then came back to Italy to visit his family. All the while, WWE just happened to be in town, and he just happened to go to the show, and he just happened to be in the front row, and he just happened to get picked to wrestle Umaga, and then he just happened to win the IC title.
