Well, I'm doing good in my new WWE game. Chris Jericho was getting over so fast, he was at 99 over after like 2 weeks. So I had him beat Brock and Rock in a triple threat to win the WWE title, and now his over is at 100~! I turned Kurt Angle face on Rhyno (got the idea on this board ) and he got boosted to 100 as well! After Rhyno and Kurt finish their feud, Jericho and Angle will have a super hot series of matches.

 

No Mercy got a card rating of like 86 with the following:

Im still using version 1.2 because I like my saved game now. Nothing in 1.4 sounds more interesting so. I am waiting for 1.5... hopefully you can used saved games from previous versions. HHH is jobbing to everyone he has held down and gotten major wins over in the past

Actually i may have been the first one to mention turning Angle face on Rhyno. I'm not sure but i think i mentioned it. If i did it's probably 8 pages or so back.

 

I put Rico and Chris Nowinski together and called them Perfection.

 

Regal is pretty good in this game. I gave him mini feuds with Goldust and Taz and all of the matches averaged 80 overall.

I'd think about moving your stats from 1.2 to 1.4 because the older versions run into problems, the further you go into the game. The next version, 2.0, won't be able to use old save games.

I've reaped the benefits of WWE releases, as Paul Heyman (who was fired yet rehired), Chris Benoit and Rhyno all got releases, and now all work for me. I'm starting to think I have too many people on the roster (they tell me I do, but I'm trying to build up younger stars in case I need to cut costs). At least half of my roster is over 80%, and I'm constantly having shows in the 75%-83% range, though I do use Auto Booker a few times a month. The industry is on a downslide, so I'm waiting for the other surviving companies to start cracking shortly.

I may as well post about my shitty game I've had for the past 3 months.

 

WWF (Women's Wrestling Federation- It was originally planned to be only a women's fed, but I changed my mind when I got to small, because there's no good women's wrestlers.)

 

I started at Backyard 10% with $0, and now I'm Global 100% with over $70 million. I'm on July 2019, currently.

 

World Title- Chris Jericho (won from JC Ice)

US Title- Hurricane (won from Al Snow)

Jobberweight Title- Austin Lee (won from Lars Barbecue, over 10 years ago)

 

My main stars have been Kim Coren and Charisma Simmons. Both managers with 94 charisma, superstar look, and divas. They have boosted my ratings through the roof throughout every level. Both have 95+ over now, thus giving me 100% interviews every time.

 

I have every talented wrestler on my roster, except Kurt Angle and I've basically defeated the game.

That bastard Chris Kanyon... I give him a tag team push with Raven and get him to 93 over and a main eventer. I then decided that I had too many main eventers so I de-pushed him to high mid-carder. Then, he got all pissed off from that and his morale just rocketed down and he's been sluggish in every match. Now he's coming late to events, so I jacked up my risk level to 100% and I am taking action on my Sunday Night Show:

Hehehehe.... I did it again. This time on my Sunday Show, I had Kanyon in every match possible fighting random people in Hell in a Cell matches that all ended in his opponent winning with a sick bump. He got injured in the 2nd match out of 11 with an injured knee and will be out for 16 months. The show got a 2.83 rating and a 53%. Thats what Kanyon gets for his behaviour.

I already had too many ME and like 3 Upper Mid-Carders. Also, Austin, Jericho, Angle, The Rock, Benoit, Raven are all 98-100 over and those are what I use as main eventers.

 

Anyways... Kanyon was released since his injury will keep him out for 16 months, and his contract expires in 17 months.

In my RoH fed, all I had to do is up Spanky and Chris Daniels's charisma up in the editor, and it's now the only fed in the game I haven't bankrupted in a year or so.

 

But, I have 15 guys in the ME, and they'll whine and cry if I move them down a notch.

Is it really a bad thing to have like 20 main eventers? In my TCW fed EVERYONE got insanely over, so I don't see the point in depushing them.

Having alot of main eventers wouldn't be a problem unless they refused to feud with or lose to guys not on the main event level.

You don't necessarily have to be main event talent to be a bitch behind the scenes. After not knowing what to do with my Stretching Crew tandem of Eric Angle and Shelton Benjamin, I was going to put together a copycat heel team of Scoot Andrews and RC Haas together for them to feud with, but they refused it. So I turned Stretching Crew heel on Tanaka and Dreamer, and Haas is still a face, feuding with Perry Saturn in the lower midcard.

I think I got like 8-9 ME's.

I got 5 women in training camp...they been in there for 2 years now...their ratings at basically maxed out.

When they first was in they was at like 20 and under ratings.

My mission of jobbing out tag teams made up of two older wrestlers with high overness to my young tag teams with low overness to get them over continues.

 

I just finished jobbing the Road Warriors and Al Snow/Hennig out of WWF. After releasing them I just signed the teams of Goldberg/Goldust and New Jack/Sandman and will now proceed to job them out of WWF. I may bring in Nash and Bagwell next.

Well as long as you keep it all organized you wouldn't need the official feud slots. I have undercard feuds that aren't official feuds and they all do fine.

 

Only reason i use the feud slots is so i know how my major feuds are going.

I just got this game. Man it's addicting.

 

All WWE writers should play this game. It's a good tool for learning basic booking. They should play on the hardest level until they've mastered it before they are even allowed in booking meetings.

 

Oh and how do you split the rosters? In order to do my storylines I've neglected a lot of good talent.

In the next update, there will be something to be able to split the rosters. For now, just use certain wrestlers on Raw and Smackdown.

I want to make Ric Flair the manager to my new Four Horsemen, but he's not listed as a manager......but he's listed as a non-wrestler.

Has anyone here ever tried giving a belt to a non wrestler and if so did it turn out ok?

 

I'm running a mini feud between Jericho and HHH while Angle is out injured. I'm thinking of furthering it by having Shawn Micheals winning the belt off Jericho at the upcoming PPV. Then HHH and Jericho would continue to feud for the next month up to the next PPv where Jericho would win the title back. However i'm worried that a non-wrestler who can only wrestle at PPVs winning the belt will destroy the credibility of the belt and/or kill Jericho's overness.

But my world title is only up for grabs at ppv's and it never loses value.
