The game freezes on me cause Hogan retired while in a feud with angle, then when i went to delete the feud, it froze the game and my computer numerous times. BAAAH!

Anyone know where I can download it? The updates weren't working and the game stopped working so I'm starting all over again.

I downloaded the update, but it opens as a .bmp, and says it's a .zip

Where can I get an unzip deal?

You can fix the freezing problem by loading the saved game (the one that has been freezing) into the old version of EWR. Go to the next day. Then take the saved game back to the updated version and the freezing problem will be gone.

On a side note in my MLW Paul Heyman just retired!!! Ahhhhh I had him managing my two top heels!!!! I think I'm going to turn Stacy Keibler heel to manage them now. I'm almost out of 'Cult' level, does anyone know what's next?

Actually, the hierarchy is:

Backyard

Small

Regional

Cult

National

Global

To me, it's ridiculous fun to start at the lower levels, like small and regional, and try and build up. Call it Sim-Wrestling.

I hired Bill Goldberg and Scott Steiner.

Goldberg won't sell enough, and Steiner keeps showing up late for shows.

But on a PPV which had Goldberg Vs. Austin and Steiner Vs. Rocky as the two top matches, I got a 2.7!

What do you mean? You mean you want to know if you can sign 1987 era Randy Savage?

My Vengeance got a 1.74 buyrate, and I didn't even do feuds! Here's the card, with some fantasy play-by-play (I'm not a fan of their match descriptions and endings). It was highlighted by a TRIPLE MAIN EVENT!

-On Heat, the two men who will meet for the Undisputed Title, Triple H and Kurt Angle (champion), got into an INTENSE~! scuffle.

-Rey Mysterio Jr. d. The Hurricane © to win the WWE Cruiserweight Title after reversing the Eye of the Hurricane into a Frankensteiner

-The Renegades (Palumbo/O'Haire, managed by Heyman) d. The Hardy Boys after a Seanton Bomb on Jeff Hardy

-WWE TV Champion Rob Van Dam d. Test cleanly with the ***** Frog Splash.

-WWE Tag Champions Team Canada (Storm and Christian) d. The New Eliminators (Saturn/Kanyon) when Saturn was going for the DVD on Christian, but Storm superkicked him and Christian rolled through with a crucifix for the pin.

-Booker T d. The Undertaker & Brock Lesnar in a #1 contenders match after Brock hit the F5 on Taker, but Booker hit Brock with the Side Kick and pinned Taker.

-Chris Benoit d. Stone Cold after reversing a Stunner attempt into a rollup, holding the tights for the pin.

-Chris Jericho d. The Rock. This match was chaos, with both Team Canada and their opponents from earlier in the night interfering. Amidst all the chaos, Jericho hit Rock with a low blow and rolled him up for the pin.

-WWE World Champion Kurt Angle d. Triple H after making him tap out to the Ankle Lock.

Heh, well that's my WWE Vengeance.

Guest What?!

Has anyone gotten a perfect match?

100% Overall

100% Crowd Reaction

100% Match Rating

***** from Scott Keith

I've reached the 100% crowd reaction a few times, but my best match was Storm vs Benoit with 96%. And Keith is only giving me ****1/2. Just give me the half star man.

I finally got a ***** match. My CAW and HHH had regular singles match that ended with a double DQ finish. I got a 2.00 buyrate for Unforgiven with RVD/UT headlining. Eddie/Austin, Rock/Brock, Booker/Nash and my CAW/Jericho rounded out the midcard.

There's another new update posted earlier today. This one fixes the bankrupcy freeze bug and some problems with the Talent Acquisition in meetings.

Has anyone tried mimicking the WWF move for move to see what would happen?

Halloween Havoc got a 2.00 buyrate. Double ME of Flair/Vader and Booker/Jarrett. Shane Helms recaptures the Cruiser Title in a ladder match, Palumbo/O'Haire recapture the tag belts from Awesome/Storm (who are now being prepped for a face turn), US Champ Kanyon cheats to beat Kidman.

Had a humorous note in one of the meetings: "Paul Heyman is our biggest draw, he should be the focus of our shows". I'll take that under advisement, Mr. Head Writer

I started WCW w/ a 75% public image, and the last time I checked it was 94%.

My MLW made it to national. It was cool, because most people jumped about 3-5 over points. Then XWF stole Shane Douglas from me, that sucked. That was the first time I had a wrestler stolen from me. Has anybody else had that happen to them? I bought XPW then. I got it for cheap and signed a few of the wrestlers and let all the staff, managers, and most of the wrestlers go. Now I have a D-league stocked with young guys who need to work on some things. If I had a Ross Report it would be like "Chris Rogers is a few months from making it to the main roster, he's a strong hand though."

I'm kind of interested to see how things would pan out in the long run if someone duplicated the WWF's booking. I think I might look up some archives and book the WWF from this time last year to the present.

You know the bookers have this game to see how things would go over. I can see Russo right now looking for the "SWERVE~!" option.

I finally had a ***** match.

Actually 2 of them.

Angle and Storm vs. RVD and Jushin Liger in a ladder match.

Then I had it again the next show and BAM...***** again.

I downloaded the ravex stats update...and they had Japanese promotions and wrestlers...so I figured I'd put them to work.

Just for fun, I went on a booking spree of the most over people, no fueds at all. Raw was:

Benoit vs Edge

Jericho vs Hogan

Rock vs Taker

Triple H vs Angle

BookerVanDust vs BrockShowPac

Knoble vs Kidman vs Storm vs Hurricane

And one throwaway match to put Erin Bray over.

Got an eighty-something card rating, and quite a few ****+ matches. Maybe I should keep this up.

I downloaded the new update, but now the Japanese feds from the previous game are gone? Did I mess something up? Is there anyway to still have Japanese talent/feds, or do I have to wait for the next update to include all that stuff?
