CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 They're reviewing everything. Anything not super-obvious is going to cause a delay.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Well I know that they would review the goals, but I'm just saying that it's weird to have 2 not sure if its a goal on first review for the same team in the same game.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Fuck, every time they got some momentum, it was taken right away. The Wings have won both of their OT games thus far, but I don't know if they win this one.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Yep, Ducks deserved that game all the way and they got it. If Detroit doesn't get their shit together and start playing with some fire, it's over.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 schneider's absense is hurting the wings big time. they're looking sluggish. i really wanted this one for the wings because they have been dominated in both games. the ducks will tire out eventually, though. packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 I had a feeling that we were going to lose this overtime, considering we've won the other 2 OT game we've been in , I guess you can say we were due and add to the fact that they looked tired. They really do need to skate a little faster. Good game by the Ducks, and a good game by Gigure, I'll give him all the credit on some of those key saves. I expected to this to be a long series so I didn't think we would win both at home, now we just need to split in Anaheim and then there is the piviotal Game 5. And why doesn't Mike Babcock just bench Kyle Calder, I know he is hurt so why not bench him and play Hudler (even tho he will get just pushed around but so is Calder!) so at least play the healthy guy And one more thing, Samuelsson has been doing fine on the point for the powerplay so losing Schiender does hurt but it's not killing us...the players are just making bad decisions with their passing. Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 what are you talking about dude? the wings defense, aside from lidstrom, is either too slow or getting pushed around. they're sluggish. schneider is a top 4 defenceman who is great at puck control. no one brings to the table what he did. its a major loss. the powerplay is not the only thing schneider was good at. jiri hudler is not the answer. guy is useless at this level. undersized. the ducks defense will spit him out. packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Oh trust me I think Scheinder is just as good as Lidstrom, and his loss is huge, and if we ever lost Lidstrom now, it would be all over but Lebda is not horribile as he is the one who replaced Schiender, then their is Kyle Quincy who isn't bad himself having being put in this role at the last minute. If anything, Chelios is the one who looking sluggish at times. And just bad turnovers by everyone on the Red Wings, not just the defensemen is what is killing them right now. Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 no, lebda is playing the worst. give aways. being knocked over. chelios is the second best behind lidstrom.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Obviously we don't see eye to eye so I'll just give up. Game 3 will be huge
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 One to go. I had told every person I saw today that Buffalo was winning tonight. I didn't actually see the game, but I anticipated them to come out freakin firing.

Guest Report post Posted May 15, 2007 I guess I was right about one team establishing themselves and then ending the series quick. Lol, Buffalo, now watch your team crumble due to the cap that you wanted so badly.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 Now Buffalo, you can panic. It's over
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 Red Wings forward Kyle Calder will be benched for Game 3 on Tuesday in favor of Tomas Kopecky. Calder hasn’t seen much ice time in the first two games against Anaheim, playing only 7:57 minutes in the first two games of the Western Conference finals. He has only one point this postseason, an assist in Game 5 against Calgary in the first round of the playoffs. Kopecky hasn’t played since Dec. 14, when he suffered a broken collarbone against the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm not sure how I feel about that considering Kopecky hasn't played since December even though Calder should be benched
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 i wish my girlfriend was around for the hissy fit she's throwing right now. too bad. and i'm glad hudler isn't being put in. he was awful.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 There's one very important detail that needs to be taken care of before tomorrow night's game... Someone needs to make sure Alfredsson knows not to touch the Prince of Wales Trophy when it's presented to him. Just skate away, Alfie.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 Strong period by the Wings there, Let's hope for 2 more strong periods by them. And what a pass by Samuelsson in the first goal.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 WOW. That is all I can say. Obviously no one could have predicted this. Big lead boys, just be smart.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 This is one reason why I dislike the Red Wings take a controlling lead..... The game starts to get dirty, think he gets suspended?
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 And the fans chant Ref You Suck? God I hope Holmstrom is OK
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 Good to see the Ducks taking their ass kicking with class. Fuckers. If Holmstrom is out again, that could be a huge turning point.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 How many games does Niedermayer get suspended? And does anyone feel that Pronger is getting away scott free?
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 How many games does Niedermayer get suspended? And does anyone feel that Pronger is getting away scott free? Just based on the replay I saw, it looked like Pronger did most of the damage on Holmstrom. If they go back to review for suspension purposes, it might be Pronger that gets it. packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 I dont know, I can't see them suspending one of the NHL's Stars, their pussies when it comes to the stars getting suspended. And was Detroit on the powerplay that whole period? Cus it sure seemed like it
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 pronger will get at least two games for that hit. straight up dirty. pronger was gooning it up hard all game. thank goodness holmstrom is alright. they should have held him out to raise the suspension.
Guest Report post Posted May 16, 2007 The Ducks love to goon it up.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 Pronger wont get anything. It will be Neidermyer that'll get a two game suspension if anything.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 Pronger wont get anything. It will be Neidermyer that'll get a two game suspension if anything. for what? he didn't do a thing. pronger was the one who elbow smashed holmstroms face into the glass. it was a vicious attack.
