devo Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Every once in a while, for seemingly no reason, the image on my computer monitor will turn a shade of light blue. Any idea what's causing this and what I can do to fix it?
Ravenbomb Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 my monitor did that just before it died. You might need a new one.
AntiLeaf33 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Yeah, it sounds like the monitor may be on it's last legs.
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Depending on your monitor, but it could also be the connection. Check the pins at the end of the cable that plugs in to the PC. If some of them are bent, slightly crooked, or altogether broken, then you might be able to just replace that and be fine. This happened to me before.
devo Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 Bah. Okay. I bought the thing used off of eBay, so I figured it wasn't long for this world anyway. The fact that the blueness goes away if I turn it off for a while gives me a little hope, though. Thanks for the responses.
