Hunter's Torn Quad Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 I don't get the "boo-urns". What's it supposed to make a reference to? It's a Simpsons reference. Boo-urns

humongous2002 Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Wow, I remember the days when the RAW thread used to be 20+ pages long, it shows that people are getting tired of WWE shoving their unwatchable product down our throats. How many times are they going to push the same useless guys over wrestlers that people are willing to pay to watch their matches. Orton has been a disappointment as a main eventer and a human being but there he is getting wins over guys more superior than he is. Lashley is just a joke on the mic, my 5 year old niece has more intensity than he does, and Cena is a good main eventer since there's nobody else there with charisma being pushed as hard as he is but his babyface persona turns off male viewers 18-35, which by the way were the ones purchasing merchandise back in the Attitude era (WWE's most successful era).
King Cucaracha Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 What's funny about this is that Orton's the best concussion sell in the company and he's the guy whose gimmick is based around giving concussions. Amen. He sold that match with Trips at the Rumble in 2005. You gotta love this Orton concussion angle. It's the ideal way of having him take out a bunch of guys to build him up for HHH to squash, but yet Orton isn't really going over anyone. It's like "Hey dumbass...your opponent has a concussion and can't hardly move...PIN HIS ASS." I've always thought concussion angles were silly in wrestling. If a guy can't continue, it's easy enough to stop the match. It's called a 3 count. Yeah, but the point is Orton isn't interested in just getting the 3 count anymore. The interview with Maria was there to seem that Orton cared more about 'taking Michaels out' than defeating Michaels. Same with RVD. He's happy to go out and wrestle his usual match at first, sure. But as soon as RVD got 'concussed' you could see Orton's expression change too. He didn't care about pinning RVD, just hurting him. I'm not a big fan of Cena personally, but that interview was delivered perfectly.
