Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted June 25, 2007 I just came and checked it out, I'm not sure how much play this is getting in some areas, but this was a really fun film. It's essentially a compilation of short films, all named after a section of Paris, and each one done by a certain director with its own little story and actors. I highly recommend it. Some pretty big names here, too.. including the Coen Brothers, Wes Craven, Christopher Doyle, Alexander Payne, Gerard Depardieu, Alfonso Cuaron, and Gus Van Sant. Actos include Bob Hoskins, Steve Buscemi, Natalie Portman, Willem Dafoe, Nick Nolte, Maggie Gyllhenhaal, and Elijah Wood, with some cameos from the directors doing the stories. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 I think Dennis Miller mentioned this film a while back on his radio show. He goofed on it. That's all I got.
DARRYLXWF 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 I saw it. It's very good. Very French. It's the kind of movie 'Coffee and Cigarettes' tried to be. It's basically a series of unrelated short sketches that are meant to leave you with a 'feeling' of the essence of Paris. I find it quite amusing because French culture is the complete polar opposite of American culture.
