He says it makes people superhuman and not feel any pain so that's been the only time when he's had to shoot his gun on his limited time in the force so far. To disable, mind you, not to kill, although other officers have had to. Lots of interesting `hood stories from that guy, and he's still pretty much a rookie cop.
