Part of me is excited, the other part of me knows that Odenkirk has kinda gone to shit (as a director, I haven't seen him act in anything recent). Mr. Show is my favorite sketch comedy ever, so I hope they don't tarnish that legacy. Do something different.

Odenkirk was always kinda shit. Not that I don't love him, but he needs a leash/caretaker. And the perfect man for the job was David Cross. So it's good news.

I agree, Milky. The only thing I remember seeing him in outside of Cross-related stuff was Larry Sanders. And even then he usually had Rip Torn kicking his ass so he was in good hands.

odenkirk was the best and most under-control part of 'the ben stiller show', but that was 13 years ago. i blame him as the primary reason that will arnett will never have a respectable acting career.

Am I the only person who thinks Odenkirk is *much* funnier than Cross and a far better actor?

 

Bob can't direct for shit but he's damn funny.

 

David hasn't exactly been on a roll of late with Freakshow and bit parts in Amanda Bynes films
