College student tasered at Kerry speech.

Yeah, it's pretty terrible stuff. I assumed the police version of events was correct, but the video is pretty bad. There's a huge public outcry here, there's going to be an provincial inquiry into the death.

 

Just a brutal, terrible incident all around. I still think tasers are fine, they were just misused here. The police went overboard and let this poor man die.

Sounds like the taser was applied for no particular reason here, since apparently after the police got there the guy calmed down and offered zero resistance until they zapped him. See, complaining about this case is perfectly legit.

 

Has there been any sort of public announcement about the medical examiner's report on what the official cause of death was?
