CubbyBr 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 Anyone know how ROH did on their first couple PPV's?
Jingus 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 We may not ever know exactly how well they did. First of all, the company has to voluntarily release the records, it's not something they have to do. Secondly, it can take forever to get the correct results. And finally, ROH is different from other companies because its PPVs have debuted at different times on different satellite providers, sometimes weeks apart. SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 The ROH forum has a link to an interview with Cary, where he states that the initial buys for Respect is Earned were higher than what they'd expected, but didn't specify what those numbers actually were. The Buzz 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 Well I remember hearing a number that no ROH dvd has sold more than 10,000 copies. So probably I don't with word of mouth, fans possibly not wanting to pay for a ppv and the dvd, new curious fans. 5,000-20,000 buyers? For all I know that number 10,000 might be bogus. theintensifier 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 That would be a little far fetched for a single DVD to have sold over 10,000 copies, especially in an American indy federation.
