Mike wanna be Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Punk's tape said "happy birthday", though to whom I've no idea.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 did anyone else hear spanish throughout the Balls match?
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I don't know how it came off on TV but the sad thing about the Punk/Morrison match is a LOT of people were long gone so despite it being a good match, my section was very quiet. The loudest it ever got was when Roddy Hogan noticed he was in camera range during a submission spot and started Hulking around to a loud chant. This is why I think they need to drop live ECW shows on the east coast.

Guest Ant Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 It was Eddies birthday and according to WZ the Rating was 1.2 which is on par with last weeks.

Even if that last hour or so it a little sub par I'd still stay and get my money's worth.
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Yeah, I'm in the "I paid to see this so I'm going to stay" camp but people like to beat traffic too. It's the wrestling equivalent of leaving a baseball game in the 7th inning because the score is 8-1.

It's the wrestling equivalent of leaving a baseball game in the 7th inning because the score is 8-1. But its different with a sports game like that where they'll probably have another game tomorrow or in a week or so, tops. Wrestling might come to your town every few months, if your lucky, so I can't really justify taking off early. And being in the "Stay to the End" camp paid off pretty good a few years back. I was watching an AHL game between the Philly Phantoms and the St. John's Maple Leafs. Philly was kicking their ass like 6-1 or something. As soon as they announced the winning 50/50 ticket number, almost everyone left. 2 minutes later a 45 minute bench clearing brawl ensued. Safe to say, I got my money's worth out of that ticket.
