This was long overdue for sure, never cared for him at all really, he was as bland of a character as you can find (which isnt all his fault, but still) and really didnt have much of a working ability in him. Just your typical meathead jacked-up dude with no talent really. With or without being on the juice, he was never getting over and really never got much of a push anyway, so any argument that he was "forced" to take roids to get over is pretty illogical since they never really pushed him that hard anyway. He made his own bed, that much is clear.

It's not hard at all to get steroids. I want to say that I've been presented with that sort of opportunity at least 3 or 4 times and I'm not even a serious athlete. For someone like HHH, with money, connections and other resources, finding the best in performance enhancing is simple.

Oh and by the way TNA would have to be insane to bring Masters in. They already tried bringing in Test and how did that work out?

 

I could see Russo writing some steroid story where they talk to Chris in a dark room where he says he did roids and how he wants a clean start. They could find a way to take shots at WWE without actually saying certain things to avoid a lawsuit. Have him say he's clean and wants to show his real talent without the meds. Of course he doesn't have any real talent for it to go anywhere but that never stopped them from signing castoffs before.

This 'good stuff' that posters keep mentioning that only certain wrestlers can afford, how expensive can it be? I know the pay isn't amazing for someone like Masters but surely he can afford the stuff to pass these tests, it can't be THAT expensive can it?

As for Masters, oh well. He had to know they were going to scapegoat him since they knew for a fact he went back on the stuff. It's his own stupidity for getting back on the stuff and if he had a brain, he could have just stayed off the stuff, allowed them to fire him for getting off the roids and then went out and shredded them. Sure he might still be able to do it, but no one is going to care about the opinion a guy who was fired because he was on steroids.

 

Masters had to know they were going to pick someone to march out there as a "SEE! IT WORKS! WE ARE DOING OUR PART" pony show. And it's not like it was well hidden that he was back on them. They were just keeping him around as the first example and they got what they wanted. Good job WWE, you genius bastards.

Marion Jones was taking undetectable drugs provided by Balco, hence she wasn't caught. If certain wealthy WWE people had contacts with a lab making designer drugs, they could (and likely do) sneak through.

 

His rank-and-file $75,000 to $500,000 per year guys can't afford that stuff and are taking stuff prescribed by their local doctor, the real stuff the tests should catch.

 

The drugs his guys were taking with the except of the GH brigade, were the easiest to detect in a test.

 

Not one NFL or MLB player to this point was found on the Signature list passing for steroids the test should find. It's always GH, and everyone knows you can't really test accurately for htat.

 

There are 1700 NFL players and 700 MLB players. Not one. There are 67 WWE male roster guys and a dozen passed the test while taking drugs like Test and Stanazolol.

I can't believe he stuck around this long. I remember watching him at a house show wrestle Val Venis a month before he debuted. He looked awful and bland. I have no idea how he got involved in the WWE Title picture in early '06.

I've never minded Masters that much. I was digging his team with Carlito a while back, but that went nowhere.

 

As far as TNA goes, I don't want to see him there, at least until he learns to wrestle better. Also, TNA never signed Test, he was on a per appearance contract and he, like Rikishi wanted too much money to sign.

 

It was revealed when Snitski came back from his "time off" that he was suspended as well.

They'll call him Chris Locke and have him be a bald, semi-philisophical survivalist type. He'll take Sharkboy under his wing, only for Sharkboy to get injured and have to leave, leaving Chris Locke alone and looking for purpose.
