Yep exactly. I think R&B "sensation" Chris Brown has a supporting role in it. I really wonder why The Mist was such a bomb. It got decent reviews. Maybe it had a bad release date? Good for "Enchanted", that movie actually looks like a family movie I might not fall asleep during. It's what killed the film dead for me. Whoever thought that was a good idea needed a kick to the face. "Enchanted" looks like one of those films I know I'm going to get dragged to see but doesn't look downright terrible. I think they lost a large chunk of the people considering seeing it right then. Like I said before when I saw the trailer, the movie is 100% based around the suspense of what is inside the Mist and when you take out pieces of that suspense then you are just left with a Thomas Jane movie. They could have made that trailer exciting and action packed without revealing one BIT of what was lurking in the mist but instead they gave away the entire plot. bob_barron 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Sorry! It's a great family movie though, and Amy Adams totally makes the movie and the premise work. That's How You Know is a great musical number too. Yes, I know that sounds gay, but it's true. It's just a fun old fashioned Disney movie, with a breakout lead performance. It has a 92% rating at rottentomatoes and a 75 rating at metacritic. Haven't seen the pop-up editions, but I own HSM 1 and have HSM 2 on the DVR. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Because I have WWE 24-7 and Centre Ice, my Disney Channel viewing is now just limited to new Hannah Montana episodes. Regarding the Mist: I wouldn't say it tanked, but it probably didn't live up to expectations. Horror movies usually perform poorly over the Thanksgiving weekend, so I blame bad timing for the disappointing gross. Plus, Hitman was probably some direct competition.
