Actually, I got up early this morning and took my car to the garage at my parents' hometown. I was travelling near there for work yesterday and the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light came on. The engine was running kinda funny, as well. I stayed at my parents house last night so I could to the garage first thing this morning.

It took less than 5 minutes to fix the car as there was an air hose not sealed correctly. That cost $45 plus tax. I headed back to my office to drop off some paperwork, and I'm getting things squared away for a trip to Louisville for a couple of days. I posted this thread because we are now so much closer to 100,000 (yeah right).

i slept until noon, which is commonplace for some but usually not me. but i was up until six thirty or so. ate leftover chinese food. checked in on assorted board and LJ. watched porn and rubbed one out. took a nap. smoked some ciggs. played tug of war with the doggie. the temp is in the single digits (F) with a wind chill and i'm not leaving the house.

No. My best friend and former roommate lives in Elizabethtown, KY now with his wife. He is stationed at Fort Knox, which is minutes away. His older brother flies apache helicopters and lives in Louisville. Marshall (Thundering Herd from here in Huntington, WV) plays a b-ball game against Louisville at Freedom Hall tomorrow. I am writing it all off as a business trip, but it gives me a couple of days to hang out with my friend before Christmas, see his new house, hang out with his brother, go to Freedom Hall for the first time, and watch my beloved Herd probably get the shit kicked out of them by my favorite college coach ever, Pitino. Should be a good time.
