It might be fake (and it's likely), but it could most certainly be real.

 

Dish Network will leave automated voice mails reminding customers their bills are past due, simply because a lot of people forget. You have no idea how many calls we get from people claiming they'll call the police or a lawyer if we "don't stop harassing me". Most of them sound like that woman on the call.

 

They forget that most companies send one disconnection notice in the mail with the bill and will shut you off with no other warning.
