Your Paragon of Virtue Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 I went out, ate and had a few drinks with some friends, but they we're all "hey, let's go to a club" and I was all "hey, I'm going to go home and have a quiet night of reflection and reading." Which was better than saying what I knew I'd end up doing: drinking some more, listening to some music and dicking around on the internet. Did you actually wanna go somewhere? I imagine if they asked you, you wouldn't have said you wanted to go clubbing. If they didn't ask you, well then you need to get new friends. It's your birthday, you should decide.
Nighthawk Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 Patton Oswalt was pretty accurate. The birthdays that count are 1-13, 16, 18, 21 and every time you enter a new decade.
King Kamala Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 Patton Oswalt was pretty accurate. The birthdays that count are 1-13, 16, 18, 21 and every time you enter a new decade. I remember being pretty jazzed about turning 17 and being able to see R-rated movies legally. In retrospect, it was pretty stupid since the theater I frequented at the time never carded.
Jingus Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 You're lucky. In Nashville, they stuck you with a rule that you had to be 18 and always carded.
luke-o Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 I got excited on my 17th birthday because I was no legally allowed to drive. Having said that, I've only just got my provisional license at 22 and I have no intention of learning to drive.
Slayer Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 After coming back to this thread for the fourteenth time or so, I just realized this thread title reads like a Morrissey title
