Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Gotta love that Reign and Rellik didn't know what double team move to do. That's a great way to get a team over. Yeah...since this is taped, you would have thought they'd try to edit it out or cut back to Eric Young in the crowd.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 With his bandanna and new facial hair, Hernandez looks like Rick Steiner. I thought he looked like Saturn when I met him at Webster Hall. Did you think Webster Hall would be a good venue for a PPV? No, the crowd was great, but the ring they used was SMALL. When I say small, it was 14 feet across and 6 feet from post to post. Hoyt was able to touch two posts at the same time just by sticking his hands out to the side. The wrestlers were actually pissed about it, but they went out and put on a great show. I spoke to Dixie before the show and she said they wanted to book Manhattan Center, but ROH had it for that weekend. She said the next time they come back that's where they are going to book.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 TNA at the Manhattan Center would be sweet.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 I love how effortless Hernandez border tosses the rest of the smaller TNA roster.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 I'm actually a little into the Rellik/Reign vs Kax/Young feud. The former team doesn't do much for me, but I love the faces. It's rare no-a-days to build up the lower card this much.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 So...theres a ppv next weekend...and we've got LAX, MCMG, Rellik/Reign, Kaz/Young and Hoyt/Rave all doing whatever they're doing... what is this leading to?
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 So...theres a ppv next weekend...and we've got LAX, MCMG, Rellik/Reign, Kaz/Young and Hoyt/Rave all doing whatever they're doing... what is this leading to? I believe it's LAX vs RNR vs MMG and EY/Kaz vs Rellik/Reign.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 LAX vs RNR vs MMG would be really good. Two kick ass tag teams...and the heel team for them to beat up on. That could be fun.
ChrisMWaters Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 As I missed it before... I get a chuckle out of Super Eric.

I believe it's LAX vs RNR vs MMG and EY/Kaz vs Rellik/Reign. I think the winner gets a title shot.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 The only match at the PPV I'm not looking forward to is the Knockouts match. Instead of a tag team match, it should have been a three-way to blow off the mini-feud that's going on.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 As I missed it before... I get a chuckle out of Super Eric. Super Eric is better than it has any right to be.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Steviekick, I agree. And that has to go to Eric. He gets it over so well. He's great with the fans, and knows how to work it.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 It'll still be good (The Knockouts match) I like that they aren't blowing it all off yet...because Kong would have to lose the title...and there's still a lot of gas in that tank.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Now that I think of it, TNA has really used Bullet Bob Armstrong way more than they ever should have.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Steviekick, I agree. And that has to go to Eric. He gets it over so well. He's great with the fans, and knows how to work it. Yeah. When I went to a TNA taping in August 06, he was by far the most over face.
Matt Young Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Is it just me, or did Kip James sound like Lil' Bush when he just went on about punching BG James in the face, kicking him when he woke up, etc.?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 These Rough Cut things are fantastic. Whoever's idea this was should be applauded. They've made me care about The James Gang. The James Gang. "If I saw Brian right now, I'd punch him in the face. When he woke up I'd kick him in the face."
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 That whole, kick him in the face bit that Kip just did had me chuckle a little. I'm actually interested in this feud right now. Like other have said, too bad it leads to a match. Now all they have to do is build a feud this way with wrestlers we care about. I'm actually digging Kip through these videos.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 "MY BURKA IS NONE OF YOUR CONCERN" TNA quote of the month!
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Wow, I didn't think TNA could make me not care about Kong, but there it goes. (I'm still a fan of her, but I hate her manager).
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Consequences Creed BITCHES!!! I love me some predebut hype videos.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Nice heel promo from Storm. "I'm already famous"... Someone's been working on clever lines in the office.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Have I mentioned how much of a mark I am for James Storm recently, cause I am. Plus Jackie is awesome, and she's sweet, as I met her too.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Jackie really works well with Storm. I was surprised with that.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 It's funny because you could kind of see that they wanted to push Harris instead of Storm after AMW broke up...but Storm just shined through with charisma that he'd never shown...and Harris didn't have.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 It's funny because you could kind of see that they wanted to push Harris instead of Storm after AMW broke up...but Storm just shined through with charisma that he'd never shown...and Harris didn't have. Its funny how things work out. I figured Harris would've wound up bigger than Storm.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Credit to him for finding a niche that worked for him. He was able to mesh into matches with Rhino and look believably on that level... Compare that to Harris who never found his footing and just looked like that AMW guy...
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Although...Harris did look good at Slammiversary last year now that I think about it. He was outclassed by the rest of the people in the match...but he worked his ass off to look like he belonged in there.
